Thank you we do seem to be getting there with the kids, which is good really as don't think I would have the strength for that alongside homeschooling lol

They will feel better soon, home schooling can only go so far and most parents I know are doing part home schooling and more life skill teaching.

Thank you for your support. My little one came out in chicken p0x yesterday but so far doing OK (it seems it is worse before the spots arrive). Homeschooling ticking along, the school have been brilliant and give a good structured day including live lessons. My son needs support for all of the work he does due to his age, I don't really want him to miss out on any of the learning as I know each feeds into something else. On the days I am not working this is manageable and on my working days I have plans for some support and will pick the remainder up over the weekend.
EF growing a bit thanks to a bank transfer referal that has completed.
We have someone coming yo give a quote for the BTL building work... I am not sure the person we originally thought could help is a viable option. Does anyone know the best way to validate builders? It’s difficult isn’t it if you can’t find someone through a personal recommendation from friends or family. I used a roofer from check a trade, got several quotes and went with my gut feeling and the customer reviews. I believe local councils may also have a list of trusted tradesmen. There is some good advice on citizens advice website

I know you can use things like checkA...and trustA... but I am always nervous about using someone I haven't had a personal recommendation from. That said, I found a brilliant roofer through checkA...Good luck with finding someone.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be.
