I deviated slightly from the plan today, I had 25 come in as an am3on voucher so decided to OP the mortgage by 25. Still something in the right direction.Mortgage Aug 2019 161,000 :eek::eek:Nov 2019 156,500:T Jan 2020 153,122:T, Apr 2020 149,500, Apr2021 139, 675, Oct 2021 136,823, Dec 2021 136,120🙂EF 0/12,000 (0%)😕 (5062.44 was ERC), Jan 2023 128,650. I have been a bit quiet as the smalls not well. My eldest got chicken pox on Christmas day and my youngest is not well and we are waiting for spots to arrive.
I worked for 1.5 days last week which was very odd but OK and back in work Wednesday.
Money wise I have been trying to look at what I achieved last year, which I was pleased with. Its really hard to look forward if I am honest as things are up in the air with the other house so can't plan or aim for amounts... I don't know where the year will take us but I would like to have sold our other house, have a decent EF and of made sensible choices with the money we hopefully get by selling our other house.
I feel work is a but uncertain atm so not sure what will happen there. Just hoigg to take it month by month and see what happens really.Mortgage Aug 2019 161,000 :eek::eek:Nov 2019 156,500:T Jan 2020 153,122:T, Apr 2020 149,500, Apr2021 139, 675, Oct 2021 136,823, Dec 2021 136,120🙂EF 0/12,000 (0%)😕 (5062.44 was ERC), Jan 2023 128,650. Nothing wrong with delaying plans, maybe see how the second quarter is looking and then have a think.
Hopefully the little ones feel better soon.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Nightmare for a parent to deal with two with chickenpox. I hope they get better.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

I think you deserve a pat on the back (or whatever) for managing work, children, Covid and chickenpox.
New year resolutions in the Covid era are tricky for us all.
I hope things settle down a bit for you.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
