I had to break off all communication with SP because they were harassing me multiple times a day but each of the foreign customer services representatives went over the same script on the telephone.

They still owe me my YE credit of £40.25 which they informed me about on the 5th of march.

They said the cheque would arrive in 10days,15days,25days,25 working days and obviously all of these have well past now

Since then they have carried on arguing that a cheque has been sent but i have never received it.

In total i have sent them over 20 emails and still no resolve.

The last contact from them informed me that i do not live at my current address and could i please give them a forwarding address,Bear in mind i have lived at my current address for years.

They have deleted all my emails from the SP account and my YE account no longer works.

I think for my own sanity i will write the £40.25 off. :s

Send ONE FINAL email to dirsupp@scottishpower.com explaining your circumstances. Truly awful company I know.

You're lucky, I was never able to get them to contact me when they said they would.
Has anyone who left SP quickly received a random payment from recently?
  • You can only admire the nerve and cheek of Scottish Power, if that is indeed the case. I have managed to escape their clutches, and I note that they were recently featured in an item on 'Rip Off Britain'. If anyone is still with them, I notice that one of their tariffs has been appearing in some Best Buy tables - unlikely, I know. Namely the 'Green Super Saver May 2022 B2'.

Please note that I am posting this purely for information. I have not researched it, so please don't chew my ear if it turns out to be lousy, on investigation.

Final bill from SP? I got a direct debit refund about two days later, I was surprised by their efficiency!

Hi All. I understand that 14,000 YE customers will be refunded in the next week or so. I received my credit via a cheque today, so I've finished with SP now. They have some very helpful people there who helped to facilitate my payment quickly.
All done for me, good luck everyone.

Final bill from YE. My switch completed roughly 10 days before YE entered administration.

I have had an email from Barratt Smith Brown (BSB) who are apparently working for the administrators about a bill that needs paying. Anyone else received one?
