Paperwork being slooooowwwly churned through. Car insurance down to 3 providers. Also need to concoct my cpd which is always a challenge when you work (very much) part time. Sent a couple of emails, booked my smear test, had a long online chat with friends in France, which served to confirm how much I’ve missed being over there this year.
Mademoiselle - am hoping this link works, I’m not the most technical - I have made these many times in ramekin dishes. The frozen nugget of chocolate in the middle becomes a gooey delight! https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/uk/food/recipes/a541607/the-ultimate-chocolate-souffle/7 -
Round 2 completed except for purchase of birthday wrapping paper - only gift bags in Post Office and sheets of wrap in C00p - I want a roll wrap! Stamps foot!
Coffee now. Cheers.

Fayolle, thank you for the link, it sounds delicious and doesn't look too complicated. I can understand you missing a country if you're used to visiting regularly. We feel the same about UK, it's now been just over a year since we've been. But I am so missing my pre Christmas supermarket trip for goodies and treats. Loads of lovely stuff here but just going to miss a few regular treats
Post dealt with as soon as it arrived
Bolognaise made for tonight
Extra cheese sauce from lunch in the freezer and labelled!
WULTD and wiped surfaces after cooking
Popping to chemist then back for a cup of tea

Made a meal plan for the week- to make sure that I use up meat products before DS and GF move out.
Colleague just text to ask if I felt ok about returning to work tomorrow? I hadn't given it a thought until then ...now my stomach is in knots. So annoying.

Round I am anxious about work tomorrow too after a few days off. At least I am in the office tomorrow.
Nice day at home, hoovered and dusted, made beef casserole, changed our sheets, put Christmas tree up. Have also been for a walk, have managed to walk 23 miles and cycle 70 miles this month which I am pleased with. I need to keep it going.
Bit sleepy now, have to log in for a short work meeting at 7pm.8 -
YL - big hugs xx
So this is how you declutter - you wait for your DS to move out!!! I told him that he could take the contents of his bedroom so they've started to take boxes of stuff each time they go to the house. He asked if he could take his mugs - so after WUDUPA the pots from tea (don't faint!!!) I went through the overloaded mugs and glasses cupboard. It's not overloaded any more!!! There are 16 mugs, 8 glasses and any number of plastic drinks bottles on the draining board waiting to move out with DSAnd I still have plenty of my own - but they are no longer stacked double decker style. Any that DS doesn't want to take will go to the cs - ferling.
I've also made up a 'new home' bag for them: removing from my stash: 9 toilet rolls, a pack of 6 bars of soap, tooth paste, shampoo, deodorant, washing up liquid, a pack of 4 dish cloths, a box of laundry pods, softener, box of ibuprofen, box of indigestion relief tablets, bleach, 180 tea bags and a jar of coffee.
My name is Roundtuit and I am a hoarder.... or maybe I'm not anymore???
Oh, and DS and GF have suddenly decided that they would like to take the sofa that I rescued from being slung out by my Dad earlier in the year. So that will go on Friday too.
I'm going to lie down in a darkened room to recover. Lol.

Sorry to have been MIA for the past 3 days and not posting (though I have tried to keep up with the thread) - just too tired. Thanks as ever to @Natty and @Valli for the lists. (((Hugs))) to @roundtuit , @YORKSHIRELASS , @Jazee, @Fayolle and anyone else in need.
Over the course of Saturday, Sunday afternoon and this morning I delivered 110 letters by hand, driving all over the town, and had 15-20 minute conversations with some people, which slowed me down even more than the rain but were very worthwhile. It wasn't until last night that I realised that the pain that had returned in my shoulder was down to repetitive strain, opening and shutting the car door so many times! It was so bad that when Rosie woke me up at 3 am, wanting to go in the garden, I couldn't get back off to sleep, so kept the seats warm in the WAC for the rest of you until 5.30. Consequently I have not felt at my best today and Rosie only got a short walk this afternoon.
Flying successes have been few and far between, but I have
- S&S'd kitchen and bathroom
- done WMx2 and a short bust of TD, then hung on the airers to dry
- cleared some papers in the study
- hunted down and finally found the missing passwords for my old laptop, so I can now access my college files, and for an old notebook ie mini laptop which I had for a few years (when I was doing a lot of travelling) before DGS1+2 wanted it, and they only gave it back last year. Now I need to download the files saved on them to my separate expansion drive.
- done the last night of my weekly course tonight - very worthwhile
I can't write Christmas cards because both my original order and the replacement have still not arrived.
The outside lights aren't up, and I really want them - must ask my young friend A to do it for us.
Tree not up yet either - pondering whether to buy a smaller tree because the one we've had for 11 years is very heavy to move and even DH needs a stepladder to reach the top.
I have bought myself an Advent calendar, to support a good causeso it will be chocs away before breakfast for the next 24 days
Ready for bed now. See you tomorrow xx

My turn for WAC today so I've come downstairs to write some Christmas cards.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8
