start, run
cmd
ipconfig /all >c:\1.txt
notepad c:\1.txt

then wire is up to router
and post the 1.txt

go start
run
type cmd and enter
then type the ipconfig and do i also type in the notepad c:\1.txt
then connect to the router with my ethenet cable
and type 1.txt...

i hav typed it in, do i need to unplug the ethernet cable from my modem or back of computer and pplug into laptop before posting the text

you could just open it in notepad, and type it in on the second pc, the only reason I said about connecting the ethernet cable is so you could copy and paste it, assuming you can get online with the ethernet cable attached.

i just did this with the wireless card (which obviuosly wont connect etc)
