Nmm hugs thinking of you all xPiggers love the carpet / cats / and the fact Dot has something moving at last for her. xWoke up to an email from the outstanding work men telling me they are coming today, but no time given, so up and dressed and ready to show them in, and let them get on with it, they would pick a day OH is holding zoom interviews! luckily they are at the back of the house and outside, OH is at the front inside, so the noise they make (fingers cross) shouldn't be heard by those on zoom.TodayBoring stuffIroningCollect cats prescription from vetsShop for foodMight make scones (they hardly get to see the cake tin as they are gone)Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Good morning!
Paid stuff today, so I am up, dressed, breakfasted & dog has been walked. I have checked the bank accounts & emails. I need to vac the LR & put the dog away before work. I may try to make some soup for lunch, but it depends on nap times (the baby's, not mine!) because the soup maker is quite noisy. I might pop the squash in the oven to roast now to speed up the process.
I MUST email the heating insurance people because it is still not right! The heating was on all night! That is despite the thermostat being turned down and the switch being in the 'off' position!! Definitely something amiss there 🤔
Have a good day everyone!9 -
Living room and kitchen hoovered

Now to make coffee to take and head off to work. Need to look at food and shopping this afternoon.10 -
Guess who is at home? GF has sent for a home test kit as there are no test slots available. 3 of her colleagues have now tested positive. GF is not ill ill but she has a sore neck, sounds like she has a sore throat but says she hasn't, and she can't smell or taste anything.
Guidance says that DS and I should self isolate until GF gets her results. If it's negative I can go back to work, if it's positive I'll have to stay at home for 14 days. Sorry - just getting it straight in my own head.
Looks like I can peg out those jeans and put a towel wash on.

Thank you Goodi xx
The irony is that I was looking forward to going to work. I've moved into a pleasant office and want some sort of normality. Heyho. Fingers crossed GF tests negative- unlikely when 3 of her colleagues have now tested positive but optimism rules.
Round 1 =
peg out jeans
set towels swishing
feed the birds
put out the recycling

Thank you Valli xx
Round 1 completed. DS and I have had a coffee.
Three piles of paperwork await my attention - might as well attack them while DS is working. I've been avoiding them for weeks 😉

Almost everything on my original list for today is done. Just the floors to mop, but DH is back in bed and I've pulled a muscle I think in my right calf. As long as I sit down it doesn't hurt so I'm going to sit and read.Spend less now, work less later.8

Towels pegged out. GF's work hoody swishing.
I've been through the piles of paper: recycled some, shredded some, binned some (envelopes), saved a couple of newspapers for when I clean out Sweetie, put magazines into the rack and I'm left with a pile of filing.
That will be this afternoon's task. Then DS's file will be up to date ready to take when he moves out. And mine will be up to date too. 😇
DS has made me a coffee and I see that it's nearly lunch time.
Hope you are all having a good day
