A bit of admin done, which has resulted in 79€ to spend in my A**z** account, and potentially another 50€ on its way. Bank statement that arrived in the post has been immediately filed away. Shame the same can't be said for the pile of odd bits of paper on the dining room table.
Lunch eaten
Walked round the lake with OH after lunch
WM on again
Coffee being drunk as I type
This afternoon I will clear up lunch and WU etc, then look at some of the papers on the table9 -
Third load (I think) pegged out. DS is rigged up and sat working at the kitchen table GF is completing mandatory training upstairs in their room. It's all very strange.
Snacky lunch has been eaten aka 'pack up' in the normal world!
Pots are still not washed - it doesn't feel right clatting about in the kitchen when DS is making and taking work calls.
I'm oscillating between 'I'm fine; it's fine; we're fine' and 'I don't like it' but it'll be reet.

Don't throw Squeak's keyboard (or the adaptor and plug) into the skip by mistake!
Funny day today here too. I was in the WAC at 4.00, thanks (not!) to Rosie. Went back to sleep about 5.30 and then didn't wake up until I heard the clatter of breakfast at 9.45 !!!!! because DH had also had a disturbed night.
In what was left of the morning [drumroll please!] I cleaned my oven, de-crumbed the toaster, started a stew in the SC, WULTD, wiped down the sides, started WMx1 of 2, and did odd bits of admin including an email order to the local craft shop who are doing click and collect
Now I need to update my to-do list, email DD and get lunch; then it will be time for Rosie's walk (she's been trying to persuade me for the past hour) and more admin-type stuff before our evening meal (stew and jacket potatoes which I baked yesterday) and my Z00m course. Best get a shifty on!
(((Hugs))) to YL, Jazee, round, BadCat and anyone else who'd like one. Plenty of spoons and sticks here - please help yourselves xx

Afternoon
I’ve had a couple of hours sit down with my book, in too much pain to do much... also had a short walk to ensure I don’t seize up completely, this enforced inactivity is getting me down now but I know I have to be patient, if I push myself it’s just too painful!
DH has just had break for lunch and I’ve had mine so I have a few dishes to wash, I think I will read a bit more and maybe do some knitting this afternoon. The kitchen and the oven will have to wait!
take care all, have a good afternoon x9 -
Round 2 completed. ££££ decluttered at Mr Als, but we have a meal plan for the whole week, and food to go with it! This is a first! 😂 I did also get 2 little presents, 2 selection boxes & some chocs & choccie biscuits for Christmas, all safely hidden/stashed in my wardrobe! Its a start - still a long way to go!! I did manage to get 3 prs of adult PJs, 3 prs of knickers & 24 pairs (4 packs) of socks from Mr S last week for the grand price of £6, plus some doubled up points 😁
DH is cleaning his very muddy running shoes in the utility room at the moment. WM is on a hot wash with towels, etc.
I think I will sit and do some admin - starting with a list for Christmas!
Ooh! I nearly forgot!! A friend has told me about a kitten that may be available. DS & I are desperately missing our Bubbles (gone for nearly a year now). DH is against it, but when I mentioned it he said, and I quote, "do what you like" What more do I need?! 😂 I am waiting to hear from the lady, but she is at work at the moment 🤞9 -
Round, it's so very difficult for you at the moment with all the changes, but try and see the positive things, they both have jobs and in just a couple of weeks they will be able to move into their own place, although I know how hard it is when kids leave home. This forced time in isolation is also a perfect oportunity for them to save a bit as no travel costs and no going out for a drink or film et. I understand your mixed emotions, here OH is working from home 2 days a week, which on the one hand is nice as he's in for lunch and it's safer but I feel he's infringing on my time and space and I feel I'm being judged for what I do or don't all day. We can't win.
Towels currently in WM
I thought I had gone through the admin tray and filed everything away just leaving what needed action or is outstanding in the tray, BUT I have just found another pile which I think is all filing (I sincerely hope so)
Then of course there is the teaching/lesson planning pile, my last lessons in situ are tomorrow then I only have my Thursday evenings which don't really require much planning as such , we follow a book and 6 hours of one to one by video. I do still have all the end of course reports to write, HELP!

I took advice of one of you, sorry can't remember who anD also cleaned the hob, cooker front and inside of oven doors but not the ovens. Got back from council work a little while ago, attempted a dog walk, but they'd rather play or snooze so I'm jus5 having a cuppa.I need to put the second wash load on the airer then I think I'll do some reading for research purposes for DD before cooking tea and settling down for a family zoom quiz tonight.Spend less now, work less later.9

Washing in and another laundry shuffle done.
Mademoiselle - you are right. xx I'd mentioned to DS earlier that he would be saving petrol. And as I fetched in the washing I realised that I like them being home - no dark commute home, both of my chicks safe in the nest. I won't be watching the clock waiting for them to come in this evening. And DS has just made me a coffeeWhat's not to like? I just wobble a little while the transition is made - after all, I am a Weeble!
I'm going to WUDUPA while tea is cooking- after DS finishes work at 5.
Have a good evening

My filing is done! I now just have things that are outstanding in the trays, yes some of them require action but generally I am up to date with day to day stuff, a few frogs lurking in there but at least I can see them now. Still have a pile of lesson reports to write.
Calling it a day now. See you tomorrow.9
