Hi all
Sorry I havent read properly, long day at the paid stuff and it's DS1s birthday so nipped to the shop to get him some treats, tired out now, off to bed. Will catch up tomorrow.11 -
How can we be on page 5 already, I've barely got anything to write!
Did the bulk of another report today, hope to finish it tonight but realistically will be tomorrow. Then one more to go to be up to date before the next 2 assessments on Wed & Thurs.
Filled bird feeder.
Was too wimpy to go for a run, even though the weather was better than when I went on Sat.
Mr N had call this morning from care home, he was meant to visit MIL today in a gazebo but the weekend weather has shredded it apparently.
Did a load of drum stuff, looking at videos, had a practice.
Mr N has moved anything likely to get in the way for when the range engineers arrive, supposedly on Wed. Not holding my breath as so much has gone wrong in the whole process.
Caught up, ish, on the relentless load of admin.
Have started writing Christmas cards.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Hugs to nmm
Washing all dried & folded. TD filter cleaned. Dog walked.
No run this evening - it was raining! 😂
Still no news on whether the kitten is still available. I called out DS, who has been saying (to me, out of DHs earshot) about getting a kitten (so it looks like it is all my idea!!) I made sure DH knows it is not just me 😂
Night night all!11 -

Morning all. Condolences Nmm.
Paid stuff and council work this morning along with dailies and dog walking. All bins need emptying and the floors need mopping but first to check if a payment has come into the bank.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.12 -
Pigpen, so pleased things are starting to move for Dot.
Another day, a new day. Working mid morning and lunchtime and then it's done. Reports still not written! But I've told my boss they will be done by the end of this week so they can be invoiced out, guess what I will be doing on Thursday.
Up, showered & dressed
Bed made, clothes picked up
Lunch made and packed off with OH
OH unloaded DW, I tidied kitchen before bed so looking good
I've got an hour or so before I go to work so want to get on with something, a general tidy round the lounge, wipe the desk as OH in the office today, ironing and think about what we want to eat and finalise shopping list
See you all later, SPOONS & SMILES all round10 -
Morning all,
V quick one from me, lovely to see the thread so busy. So sorry to hear your sad news Nmm xx
Piggers looks lovely and fab news!YL - I hope DS had a lovely birthday, how emotional for you xx
Slept so well. I'm now showered, dressed, put a load of clean laundry away and made pack ups. Will report back later have super days all xx10 -
Morning all
(hugs) nmm.
Fantastic news about Dot’s assessment, Pigpen. And the stairs look pretty amazing too!
I can already feel today slipping away from me. I need to clean bathrooms, wash my hair, do some admin, including that croaking car insurance toad, which is deafening. I also have to accompany DD whilst she drives to and from school, handily (not) timed for 9.15 and 2pm. Each round trip is an hour, but with all driving lessons and tests cancelled again, she has to keep practising if she is ever to earn her independence, living where we do.
DH is on a work crisis meeting in the DR - it would appear that this is again not the week that he gets made redundant - *shrugs shoulders, having given up trying to understand the logic*.
Breakfast eaten, I might go and quietly clean the cloakroom. Or I might read my book for 10 minutes!
Have a lovely day all9 -
Morning xx
Great news piggers xx
I'm up, showered, hair washed, dressed, had breakfast and a brew, made my bed, packed my lunch and WM is swishing jeans. I will feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off for the paid stuff. That's assuming DS and GF are symptom free. GF wasn't 'right' last night but she's started work in a new nursery so she could have picked up any random bug.
Have a good day. Stay safe.
