Morning all
haven't run DW as nowhere near full, haven't run WM as I'm at work later.
just having a coffee then I'll shower, eat, prep and go.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good morning!
Thanks Natty for the lists, and Valli for last week. I'm sorry I haven't posted for a week or so - I haven't done much flying either! Just the basics 😕
No work today, so I am up late (again!) I have caught up on the thread. Hugs to those that need them, esp YL. I hope you are feeling better today. Coping vibes sent in abundance to Round. I hope this period of isolation for DS & GF isn't too unsettling for you. On the plus side - at least YOU can go out for fresh air!! Work might be a relief for for a change! 😂
I need to get myself motivated with a little list:
Round 1
Get up & dressed
Breakfast
Check weather forecast & make a bigger list! 😂😂
I have already checked the bank accounts & emails from bed, so at least that is something! DH has been up a while & I think I heard clattering in the kitchen. If the weather is good I may do some outdoor bits.....
Have a good day everyone. Hugs, sticks & spoons to anyone that needs them.9 -
Me again
First lot of stuff done...
showered and dressed
swished over en suite
emptied bin
opened windows
made bed
folded dry laundry and put today’s load on the airer
wm set on to cleaning cycle
cuppa number 2 time now, will have next dose of painkillers and see what I’m up to doing next x9 -
WM on
HHI done
WULTD, kitchen tidied and wiped down (kitchen still needs more sorting out but keeping on top of basics)
Cleaned top of cooker
Checked banking and finances, advantage of lockdown is nothing spent over the weekend
Lunch prepared ready to go in oven
Found endives/chicory in the fridge so need to do something with that for dinner, braised in ham and cheese sauce maybe. Open to ideas.
Need to sort out the paperwork and get on top of admin but ......................
Motivation seems to have run away10 -
Round 1 complete(ish) (list still w.i.p)
WM swishing, DW loaded (not sure that it is full though)
Round 2
Sort fridge
Meal plan & shopping list
Food shop
Also on the list today is the bathroom & maybe some planting/tidying in the garden. I might go for a run later 😱 I managed about 3.5k last Monday, but it was a struggle. I need to get back into it...

I'm dressed and I've done a laundry shuffle. I've checked the weather forecast and I'm going to peg out the washing when it's finished swishing. Then set another load swishing. I've also put the bags of crisps away - every little helps, yeah?
Brew 2 is going down a treat. I don't want food yet though. I think I'll feel better when DS's boss's brother has been and gone again.....
oops I must have got distracted. First load pegged out, second load on airer, third load swishing. Groceries all put away; rubbish and recycling out; birds fed. I've eaten toast. DS is still waiting for his IT to arrive. GF is in the shower now but has been completing some training in their bedroom.
It's a very upside down day. You'd think I'd be used to them by now!

WM x 4 on the go, 3 lots out on whirly and been rained on, tough, it is windy enough, it all can stay out there.Hoovered whole house and my shed now I have power in there, sparky came last weekOven is 'soaking' in oven cleaner of some sort I found under the sink when I moved in, I don't really think it is strong enough but it will do until it runs out, it just means I have to clean the oven more often, not sure if that is very MSE or not!House plants watered I keep forgetting themHigh dusting with thingy on a stick doneBirds fed, so far had 3 male pheasants come to feedBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

DS is wandering around like a lost soul - he's not sat downstairs for this long for years. GF working in their room has put the PS4 out of bounds and all he can do is wait for the IT to arrive.
My next job is to WUDUPA a bowl of pots.

Dailies done including hoovering through which is now a daily job as I love my new vacuum, so easy. Also bedroom and living room dusted, bedding changed and dogs have been to the vet. They've had a walk too. Going to put second wash on next then do physio, but think poppet wants to play.Spend less now, work less later.10

Kitchen tidied, surfaces, appliances and fridge all wiped and cleaning cloths / sponges etc changed or thrown. I dabbled with oven cleaning and settled on cleaning the hob and the inside oven door. Floor swept, and really needs a mop but it’s a losing battle with DH constantly in and out atm. HHI done and washing is out on the line.Drumroll please....I have properly washed 2 cars! My hated job, superceded only by renewing my car insurance. So guess which job I have been avoiding...
I am just having a coffee then I might go and sort a couple of bits out in the greenhouse, as I haven’t got time to usefully get to the allotment before I have to be out to pick up DD.10
