It's been on the market for nearly 3 months so there may well be a deal to be done.  I love the panelling and the original fireplaces plus I'm a sucker for a bay window and this house has two :)
  • That's definitely a nice one, with many features. I would just clean it and move in!

It's certainly got some big plus points, especially if you like that aesthetic - but I suspect it's a bit more projecty than the pics make it appear.

Apart from the obvious need for a kitchen, bathroom(s), and complete re-decorate and re-carpet, I'm fairly certain you'd want to rewire...

It is lovely that one no doubt about it.

I cant see them dropping £20k though, would have thought theyd have done that already if it's something they would do?

Ill have to see what is left over for improvements after Ive took the mortgage into account. £190k is stretching.

The other thing that crosses my mind on that one is whether I would be embarrassed to own it, its 'too much' house for me?

Theres a world of difference between that one and the one I posted last night. When i have choices that are so vastly different how can I decide?

    1. Ok
    2. A lot of people think like you, wouldn't look at it because of the price and think they won't accept an offer.
    3. What part of things don't have to be done straightaway has not got through to you yet?
    4. I'm out, no one who really means anything would give two hoots about how much how you have. You're no further forward and I wish you all the luck in the world finding a home.
