Trying to be cool about it but so excited. My valuation was done on Monday and NatWest confirmed receiving it on Monday so just waiting for offer. BUT, electrical report has come back as unsatisfactory and “requiring immediate repair” so not sure what I’m going to do now. Looks like a full rewrire is needed.0

Mortgage offer through today
DIP - 01/10
App - 13/11
Valuation - 19/11
Underwriters - 25/11
Offer - 26/11
Surprised how quickly it came through, that’s one less stress at least! Now we just need our buyers to get their mortgage...I have found, through painful experience, that the most important step a person can take is always the next one.

Couple of questions about how the valuation updates are displayed to people on the Natwest mortgage tracker, our timeline is as follows:
Wed 11th Nov - Mortgage application submitted through broker
Wed 17th Nov - Valuation instructed (according to tracker)
Thur 18th Nov - Valuation fee taken
Wed 25th Nov - Documents reviewed (according to tracker)
I spoke to Natwest on the chat today and whilst the valuation was instructed on Wed 17th November they still haven't actually booked it yet so there isn't even a date in the diary for it, so my first question is if people have had a desktop valuation did your tracker specify 'desktop valuation instructed' so because ours just says 'valuation instructed' I can assume it will be done in person? Second question is how long has it taken other's valuation to be booked in from instruction and once it is booked is this date shown on the tracker or does the tracker only show once its been carried out? I have asked our broker to pester re the valuation getting booked in but wondered what others experience had been more recently.

Our application was submitted on the 12th and we got the offer today. It was a desk top valuation so guess that sped things up but not to bad a time in my view.0
