Well I don't bank with them but my partner does, but we were told by broker that didn't make a difference, based on profiles and the mortgage rates thats why brokerage picked Natwest as they were confident we would get a mortgage with them.Atlantic2011 said:
Wow that’s very quick! Do you bank with them?fromrubbletobecket said:Timeline:

- 12/11/2020 - Desktop Valuation instructed @ 3pm
- 16/11/2020 - Valuation received by Natwest @ 6am
- 18/11/2020 - Underwritter reviews payslips @ 12pm
- 18/11/2020 - Mortgage offered and solicitors instructed to proceed @ 2pm
This was our process i just posted on a separate thread. Seems like time is different based on case by case basis imo.
I thought we wouldn't because i showed no real savings, and i had a student overdraft loan for 7 years unpaid (i did pay this off about 2 weeks prior to the application submitted) and provided broker with copy of the letter stating the 0 balance and closure of the account. I have no idea if this was submitted along with the mandatory things.
Natwest did not once come back to us for any more information it was just really fast i expected to wait at least 1 month to find out anything.1 -
So we got AIP, then valuation was done and they received the report and then went to underwriters who have requested a few more things I.e. another bank statement, asking about something on our payslips, query some payments on our bank accounts etc, like I said I’m hoping it’s not a bad sign that they’re asking, have you been asked for additional docs too?AW1980 said:
hi! Can I ask if they’ve asked for additional documents after agreeing pending valuation then receiving the valuation?Atlantic2011 said:
Congratulations! Must be a relief!hema123456789 said:Our tracker has moved to offer
Did they ask you for any additional documents or just went straight to offer? They’ve asked me for a few more things and I’m hoping that’s not a bad sign ......0 -
We asked for ours to go to underwriters first before valuation. We didn’t want to pay for valuation then be declined for some reason. We didn’t get asked for any additional documents just got asked to pay valuation feeAtlantic2011 said:

what date are you targeting? I think if your valuation and docs are done you should be good to go once they’ve checked over the final bits?0 -
NatWest emailed to say my mortgage is accepted pending valuation. Trying to be cool about it but so excited.4
