Flipping heck... that’s shocking. I had been warned buying a house wasn’t a quick process but I thought the offer/decline bit was pretty quick. I hope you get some sort of answer or communication from then soon. Have you decided if you’re going to try another lender?hopeofahome said:Sounds like you are doing well. Ive been waiting for Natwest for 4 months to the point my broker has said lets forget about them and find another lender. they are shockingly bad.I am anxious for things to move quicker as it’s only me FTB and the house I want to buy who are in the chain. Their mortgage is done and ready to go but I’m holding things up through no fault of my own. I don’t want to lose the house. Well I’d just like answer either way really. Although I have no adverse credit I am a single parent so know they could see me as a risk due to dependents.0 -
No, just a backlog and overload of applications. 4 months since AIP is a joke. We have been complaining since September when my current deal expired. We have given up on them and moving on to another lender. I will complain to the Financial Obudsmen about them.AW1980 said:

Apparently a backlog and overload of applications. 4 months since AIP is a joke. 2 months since valuation. We have been complaining since September when my current deal expired. We have given up on them and moving on to another lender. I will complain to the Financial Obudsmen about them.NewHouse86 said:

This is a re-mortgage and I'm self-employed. But still it should not take this long.AW1980 said:

Has anyone heard anything yet? I’ve just looked on Natwest website and current service levels it said for today applications submitted on 4th November, ours was submitted on 30/10 but the date on the tracker says documents received on 10/11 so not sure which date to go by.0

Telephoned on 13/11 to explain this and a written note was sent to the underwriter which explained where they would find the information. The service levels say 24 days from
application to offer, is that working days?1 -
I talked things up, just got a text saying my valuation is booked for 02/12. That’s going to test my patience having to wait that long but at least things are progressing. Even if it’s slow. Very slow.Atlantic2011 said:Has anyone heard anything yet?
