Latest Update - I informed my insurance company and they took on the claim as a best endeavour's basis only.
I also reported this to the police but as mentioned by others, they were not interested.
My insurance company have now written to me today to inform me that the drivers insurance company has denied driving into my car and now I am being asked to provide the following -
1. Description of the other party vehicle's driver
2. Colour of the other party's vehicle, make and model
3. Details of any distinctive sign writing or logos on the body of third party vehicle
4. How details were obtained
5. Details of independent witnesses, CCTV or police, if any
6. Any images taken at the scene

Sadly I put out the anonymous witness note on social media whilst offering a reward to assist however no response since December.
Any suggestions/tips prior to me sending the above to the insurer?
