Happy Saturday Potters!! I hope you've all had a good week, apart from the weather! Enjoy a good day weekend!  😀

To any of our dear members who are either ill or low in any way whatsoever, please do take great care, and I sincerely hope you'll soon be well and back with us. For now, take very good care of yourselves ❤️

Yes, little_sweetie, I'm sure you get more success with outpatients in hospital than you do with the ruddy Drs these days!
Our nurses used to be exactly the same as yours, not now, well, not unless they make you make you an appointment for at least a couple of weeks time! I don't understand why they've been so affected by it all! Some have left altogether through health reasons of their own, nothing Covid related, but they aren't replaced, the contact is too close is all I can think of, yet the hospital Nurses are fine!
I understand just how you feel about your blood test, but it must be needed for a reason to do with your kidneys, so if I were you I'd persist even if it means phoning the surgery first.

You and G take care of yourselves.

You're not the only one noticing the way time seems to be flying past, MrsShazbat, I thought it was to do with Covid, but I'm really not sure.
Well done with the savings even though you sadly needed to withdraw some. Although it's wonderful to have the air con, it too can be costly! I'm so pleased there were no problems with the MOT!! 🤩 I take it the exhaust pin holes were an advisory so they'll hang fire for a while!

Well done with what you said to the receptionist, it's definitely true after all. We have a proper Rottweiler here, especially bought in to keep the patients away from the Drs!! She has a nickname which I won't put on SPC but is the same as a certain German leader!! 😡
I'm glad you enjoyed your friend's wedding and the break away for a while, it really helps in getting away for a while.

    Take care of yourself

I sincerely hope you're right with the healthier times ahead for us all, Ant
    Well done with your savings!
You're right in  that SPC Declaration Day won't be too far away now! 😳 Amazing how fast it flies.
    Look after yourself

Enjoy a GOOD WEEKEND folks, and simply ignore the weather, if only!🤩

Great news gonnabedebtfree - That’s a great reason to even your pot early. I guess you can count what you need to use and count now towards your final total? I guess that’s right Sue?
I picked up 5p roadkill today whilst walking round people at a bus stop. It’s in the pot along with a bit of change from my wallet.
Has anyone else taken an unexpected drenching lately? I was out on Saturday, thought I’d take my coat just in case although it looked fairly clear. Then a massive deluge came from nowhere and soaked right through my coat - proper squelchy shoes etc. Coat proved virtually useless. think I still prefer it to thirty plus degrees though!
    Have a good week everyone.

Thanks Sue - yes the exhaust pin-holes will last a while yet.  Because it's the front part of the exhaust I thought it was the engine that was a bit noisy.  But again, not using the car as much as I was helps.  I've only done 1596 miles since last year's MOT!

Yes indeed, Ant, I was at the allotment one day last week, not expecting any rain, and down it came.  It quickly soaked right through my coat and hood so I looked like a drowned rat!  My jeans, t shirt and hair (as well as my undies  :o !!)  were soaked.  Then the rain stopped as quickly as it came down.  I agree with you though, I much prefer that to a heatwave  B)
    Happy potting everyone x

Many congratulations @gonnabedebtfree such lovely news

Luckily I haven't been caught in a downpour @AntoMac but it's more by luck than judgement!  Blimey, when it rains, it really pours :(  Personally, I like the sun.........

Met up with my sister and BIL, plus their children, partners and grandchildren over the weekend.  It was so lovely to see them all as we haven't seen each other since before the pandemic. My niece and my nephew's partner are both expecting in the autumn - I think 2020/21 has produced a bit of a baby boom!

Another £12.23 to pot today.  Have a lovely week Potters, try and stay dry

I hope you all had a super weekend Potters!! Have a great week and enjoy the better weather!  😀

You're correct Ant, whatever gonnabedebtfree took from her pot she can count it as potted money along with whatever else she saves, and declare the lot on the 28th October! :)Thank goodness she had it to fall back on.
I agree with the showers of late, it falls from seemingly nowhere and nearly drenches you! Poor little_sweetie definitely got a skin full!! :s If they forecast ANY showers, time for us to remember to at least take brollies!! :) I well recall shoes squelching after being drenched as a nipper, it feels awful, especially if you've some way to walk!! :s
That 5p was very well spotted!

Good news on the exhaust pin holes, MrsShazbat. At least you had some benefits from the Lockdown, a good many of us too in various ways, I know my elder Grandson saved a small fortune on travel expenses!

Oh that's fantastic news, gonnabedebtfree!! 🤗
However much you managed to save before opening your pot, be sure to put the Total on your signature so you don't forget to include it when it's time to declare.. October 29.
Congratulations on the great news, when is it due?!
Well done on having started potting again!

Hi little_sweetie, it's always so good to have good news! ☺️ It sounds as though you really had a soaking, if it goes through to the undies too, then that's WET!! :D T & I got caught out a couple of times, but thankfully not like you! I'd far sooner a summer with around 18 - 22 degrees any time than too much heat or rain.

It sounds as though you've had a really lovely weekend, Siju! Even more babies on the way within your family, a baby boom for sure, at least with your family?!!!! 🤗 Crikey that was some family get-together at the weekend.
Very well done with the potting!

Have a good week ahead all.

Enjoy a LOVELY WEEK folks, especially with the forecast weather!!🤩
