He has it for Psoriatic Arthritis which is all over his body now   It was a very nice meal! and we are out again today as its my 2x 21st birthday today!!!

Evening all, as ever hugs and love to all.
I haven’t caught up on everything yet but I’m pleased to report that my jaw issue has improved - it catches me out if I get complacent but mostly the pain has gone, including when I touch the joint by my ear!  GP suggested it could be arthritis but that’s something none of the GPs I’ve seen since moving to this surgery can agree on - one says it is, another says it isn’t *eyeroll* Now I’ve got some knee pain and have tweaked my ankle again - never rains but it pours

My Plum ‘pot’ savings are up to £289.44 and I’ve got 3 £2 coins in my actual pot!

It’s Thursday which tends to be the day for potting some travel savings - So have potted some of the money I would have paid out travelling to work.  Proper tired. Been a hard slog of a week.

Doesn't time go quick, Siju! 😳 I don't blame you for being cautious when it comes to towns and shops, we've been nowhere near either and have no intention of doing so either.

We both had our Opticians spots on Monday, that was close enough to the town to my mind.

Our eldest Granddaughter, hubby and the 2 and 1/2 kiddies have gone with the In-laws to Westward Ho! They're welcome this week! 

An excellent way to start dancing off, far better for you all to be comfortable with it.

Oh, how could your DH raise his eyes when you're looking at and buying baby clothes, I just love that part 🤰👶

Oh your poor DH, jakes-mum! I suffered with psoriasis a great deal too when I was younger, then one year we had a beautiful summer and the majority of it went!!!!😳 I still have it, mostly in the scalp, elbows, knees and ankles. I feel so sorry for your DH though as the arthitis part must have been very rough on him, does the fusion take it away? I only had light(ish) psoriatic arthritis too, I was obviously blessed.

Hello MrsShazbat, I'm so pleased your jaw problem is easier after all the pain you've suffered as a result of it. I suppose it's possible to get arthritis in any joint, although a very dear friend of mine has had it in her HEAD for some years!! 😱 Let's hope your Drs will finally hit upon a decision they'll all be able to agree with. 

For now take very great care of it, your knee as well, not easy obviously, but as much as possible.

Very well done with the pot savings, Plum too!! 😁

It helps a bit Sue, tbh we have got to the stage with him that anything that makes an iota of difference to his pain levels is a blessing that we are thankful for as some nights he can be crying he hurts so much, his entire body is riddled with it so it's now about pain management rather than trying to get rid of it (he'll never get better, we have already been told that ) 
After that second lovely meal I had a third My little Jakey Boo took me and his dad out for dinner as a 'I forgot to get you anything so here's a dinner as a present '
Thank you for the birthday wishes, we are now 9 days away from Jakey being 20! My teenager will no longer be a teenager! :O

I had to raid my pot for 3 pounds hospital parking money yesterday. Don’t ever like taking money out but does at least prove how useful a pot full of coins can be in an emergency

But I did find 20p roadkill this morning which is worth sharing. I haven't had any in ages.

Hello everyone.  I’ve got £13 to pot which is actually my son’s Christmas money, no I haven’t stolen it 🤣. We finally got out to the toy shop yesterday and obviously his chosen item (a fire truck) was more than £13.  As I paid £20 for it on my card the cash can go in the pot.  I’m fully vaccinated now but it doesn’t look like returning to the office full time will ever happen.  We had a Covid meeting this last week for us to air our opinions and complaints, views and wishes.  The meeting was booked for an hour and lasted nearly four and a half over two days!  My employer has made no decision about working going forward whereas lots of universities have but it is obvious that our current office provision isn’t suitable as we have expanded over lockdown so even without distancing there isn’t enough space.  Maybe I should get the junk room made into a proper study after all.  I’m lucky I’ve got the spare room to do it so for that I am very grateful.

My news this week is sad, I'm sorry.  Our dear dog, Monty, had to be put to sleep on Friday morning.  He was almost 15 and his hind legs had been showing signs of weakness for some time.  Thursday, we had a little walk to the park and back and a thoroughly normal day for him, but Friday morning he couldn't stand and we took the horrible decision that no pet owner wants to make.  We know it was the best for him and he has left us with a million wonderful memories but, as all pet owners know, they are so much more than pets and it is so strange not having him here with us.  The pain will pass, I know, but the weekend has been dreadful for DH and I as the house seems so very empty now.  We are looking to the future and the birth of our first grandchild in September, our little ray of hope

Oh your poor Hubby, jakes-mum, I knew some years ago it was said to be as painful as any other arthritis; very sad that it's life long.

Crikey, Jake's about to be 20!!! It never seems to be possible after all those years ago when, at just a little boy you wanted bikes for the two of them that first SPC year!! I hope he has a wonderful Birthday and you have another delicious meal. I'd still be a bit fearful of going into a cafe/restaurant.

Hi Ant. Why not have a pot aside to have a few coins in for emergencies? At least it would be handy at such short notice. I still reckon Hospitals charge way too much!!

Difficult times with decisions about whether to be going back to work or not, a lot of follk in our village are continuing working from home, saving a lot too.

I'm so pleased you have your spare room which will be extremely useful if you stay home working.

What some shocking weather, especially yesterday!! We were at our friends and, I must admit it was lovely watching and listening as it pelted on their window, not so good when at 7pm it was still chucking it down when we left to come on home! I don't mind rain, in fact I quite enjoy watching and listening to it, but it's a shame when you think what we should and could be doing given the time of year!!
