Oh my goodness! Well I guess I only have 2 at school until Monday.DS2 just projectile vomited over most of the bathroom. Look on the bright side, shiny clean covid safe bathroom now!! I know it is only Wednesday, but we have already had blood, vomit, and a trip to A&E this week. There have been car crashes on my route within 5 minutes of me passing, in each direction, every single day.Roll on the govt announcement tomorrow! Hooray for 5 days until payday.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

£2.42 top up shop and £20 car fuel today.
Grateful for a walk in the winter sun with a good friend, tonight’s clear starry sky, my thermals.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7 -
Very tired today but brought the bin back in and added little bits to each bin, did some paperwork, short walk to post box to send off cards (except the 2 air mail ones), cut out all the snowflakes which had their second side of paper put on last night, did the second side on the two new ones, 4 more purple penguins (glittery ones), all little white tummy and face pieces attached and then googly eyes.
Grateful for a gripping new crime serial, finding something of mine in the freezer, using up, crafting and it being too wet to work outside. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Your penguins sound lovely mothernerd!
Just a quick check in from me to report an NSD yesterday. BF was about to dash to the shop for chocolate but I produced some from my secret stash. Is it bad that I hide it from him?
Grateful for rediscovering a study technique and ambience on utube, for interesting students, for feeling a little more inspired and motivated than last week.

NSD No 14
Yesterday was a really good day. Lots of tidying and decluttering. The recycling bin is full. Just as well it's being emptied today. I've been moving stuff around but, to be honest, this is only a temporary measure for the moment. We need to make some real space, get some redecorating done and replace some furniture (needed not wanted - the bed in the spare room is near to collapse). So chipping away just now and will tackle it in earnest after new year.
Also chipping away at using what it is the freezer for lunch and dinner so that I can start to get things in for Christmas and New Year. It's beginning to look better but I do wish Himself would label his leftovers.
Gratitude for yesterday - Himself making some really delicious sausage and mash for dinner. He can cook when he puts his mind to it.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.4 -
Thursday- NSD 15! Yesterday was a spend day as I bought paint (for this weeks entertainment- starting to decorate the new house) and decided as I had spent some money I might as well buy the presents I had in online baskets, so over half the shopping done for that day in December.
Sorted out a pile of paperwork ready to shred and have decided that although I decluttered a load of stuff before moving, there is more that can go!
Car insurance due at the start of January, and this year I am going to start 3-4 weeks before it's due, check all the price comparison sites and pay it in full (no more interest charges for paying monthly). This is a BIG thing for me!

Shower screen cleaned inside and out (will do the base tomorrow). Painted most of the silver bits on the garden gate (was only going to do what I could of the lock but I spilled the paint, scooped most of it back up and into the tin but used up the spilled remains by doing most of the twiddly bits - straight bars are black, spiky bits on the top and twisty decorative bars are silver). My painting was very neat, just managed to lose some paint between the bin where I opened it and the gate. having told me repeatedly NOT to buy things, mum is now thinking of things to buy (not including the random items I still need to source and buy).
Dealing with a couple of minor health matters - if I did them all I'd spend all day creaming, dressing, adding aids and layers. Food arrived this afternoon and most of it is now away. Used up a couple of things from the freezer for meals and added mash potato and root veg from Sunday. Cauli cheese tomorrow. Tried to spend money yesterday but failed. Attempts to transfer money to DS1 have been unsuccessful (last attempt with card, pinsentry reader, code book - membership number, passcode (number) and memorable word. Got into my account successfully but when I tried to enter make a payment it said I had given it an instruction the server did not understand - leaving it to cool off. I was doing a musclefood order and lost heart half way through. Will have to make some decisions soon.
As expected we are in tier 3 when full lock down ends so business as usual - no-one in the house, no-one in the yard, avoid rugrats at all costs. We are having a man round tomorrow but only to fix a broken slate or two so he doesn't need to come in (may let him check for any other tile slippage).
Today I am grateful for getting the gate bolt partly painted (did it with the bolt out to the fullest extent, need to do the bits that were hidden and underneath), for getting the shower done, for a funny film on tv, for making progress, for it not raining every time I poked my head out of the door.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Evening all, sorry have been awol for a few days but haven't got much to report!
Went to hospital and had steroid injections in my back the other day, and omg the relief has just been great. Am feeling positive now for future treatment options. That is about my only news for the week! Have managed 18 NSD's which is pretty good. Got paid but I like to start my month on the 1st so have left it all to one side for now but have planned my spends for next month.
Also had a shopping delivery today and honestly can barely shut any of my cupboards or the freezer. I don't know why I always do this! I do use stuff up but I'm just ordering too much, it's getting a bit ridiculous.6 -
Today I am grateful for finishing my working week, for dd letting dh sit with her and see her maths work, for getting a workout done even though I really didn't feel like it, for going against the stationary 'flow' of traffic both ways with travelling to and fom work, for the 'neigh neighs' in the fields.
