I had those x off a shop vouchers through the post, first time since about February. I'll only use them to stock up on items I don't buy in Aldi. Even 20 % off doesn't really match an Aldi shop.0

Improved again, had just 10 points for one item a few weeks ago, now back to 40.0

Vegastare said:is it just me or has anybody got these x 3 nectar points voucher....3rd one this week. I must admit I thought the whole idea of app was to got have all these vouchers churned out to you at the till but its the third time I have been given themI, too, have been getting these 3 x points paper vouchers again, despite using the app for the weekly offers. Also been getting other random vouchers churned out for things I'll never use, e.g. 7,000 points for pet insurance when I've never bought pet food there so what makes them think I'd like a pet insurance voucher??As if this total waste of paper weren't annoying enough, at the checkout today there was a stack of ready-printed vouchers for 5 x points when you use SmartShop and the (maskless) cashier LICKED HER FINGER to take one off the top of the pile before giving it to me along with my till receipt. Never mind 5 x points, it's 5 x germs with every paper voucher at Sainsbury's!!0

I was of the opinion that the smart app and indeed the new Nectar some 2 years ago( my Sainsburys was one of 3 in trails) was to cut out the use of vouchers at tills....I too have had useless random vouchers.....keep thinking green Sainsburys !!! your miles off.

Usually get 70 points for a melon, up to 90 this week.0

I have 6 'offers in total. I've got 10 points for bananas - 20 points for milk - 10 points for a cucumber - 40 points for avocado - 40 points for broccoli - and the big star 120 points for strawberries.0

No. The points vary per customer. I was showing my Nectar app to a colleague. We get different points for buying the same items, My colleague's are in brackets
. Hubbards (formally Basics) chopped tomatoes - 100 (20)
. Whole Cucumber - 20 (30)
. Some pasta 50 (40)
. Instore bakery 4 pack giant cobs 30 (50)
. buying any jam, peanut butter etc 70 (60)
. buying any cereal 80 (100).
I always buy the chopped tomatoes when I get 100 points - I use 1-2 a week. In a 'normal' year I may get this offer 35 weeks of the year. That's 3,500 or £17.50 of points for spending under £10,
Also you can buy the items if you see them in the reduced as Sainsburys/Nectar will recognise you purchased the product, not how much you spent.0 -
Apart from one great offer on a product I'm not sure is actually in stock yet, 100 points for 400g strawberries, my offers are well down again.
10/20 points for items I've been getting 40+ on.0 -
My offers were good this week, got a total of 450 bonus points from the app and140 from a paper coupon.
Some such as 60 points from a 95p bag of potatoes and 60 points on a £1 bottle of squash were decent.0 -
It’s random. As given 20-100 points on Hubbards chopped tomatoes.0
