Well, if at first you don't succeed - ok, it's probably more like 51st in my case - then try, try, try again! Please could you put me down for £400 this month? I've looked at the calendar & it is a 5-week month, but stocks are high, there are still veggies at the allotment & in the garden, and we're in a position to survive a potential lockdown & even isolation, always a possibility with DD1 working in a supermarket right next to a major trunk road. I may be tempted to order some more flour but am trying to convince myself that I don't actually need it. The danger is that the possibility of lockdown will tempt the boys (+ partners + dogs) to pile home at every available opportunity, which is lovely & I know I'm very lucky, but it's also - quite expensive!Angie - GC Aug25: £207.73/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)7

I'd like to join please!
My annual budget starts on 1st November and I've allocated £3600 (£300 per month)
I have plenty in stores and am running down my freezer at the moment so I'm hoping that November will be a good one! 😉

First spend of November - £98.38 Tesco delivery. A small chunk of that is for the Halloween fun we've got planned this weekend, and I got some pasta and a few tins to fill the gaps in the storecupboard so we can keep the grocery spend low the rest of the month using what we've already got. £302.62 remaining.5

Been a while since I did the challenge, but need to get back on the wagon, so £250 for me this month. Hoping to start realistically and reduce it in future months4

Solstice is already sorted (I have a separate fund for celebrations 😉) and I don't think that we'll need the full £300 per month for groceries so the remainder will be used for bulk purchases - hopefully this will work for me as well as it does for you!😊6 -
Had to pop to the shops after work, I forgot to take food in with me today so I was starving. I spent £3.58 so not a huge amount and its the first lot I've spent this month but its definitely not a mistake I can keep making. Random trip to the shop is what make me waste money.
£3.58/ £300Emergency Fund: £500/£1000
Christmas fund 2023: £94.60/£500
House fund: £ 11188. 326
