Hello, so another £150 for me please. I did go over by £20 in October, and I may well again, but I shopped for the month yesterday so fingers crossed I won’t need to shop again. So total spent for November so far is £140.68. I spent £65 at a wholesale butchers and £75.38 at T3sco but got lots of reduced chicken. I have just over £9 in case we need bread or eggs.Starting Total in September 2019 = £38287.77

First shop for November done. Trying to start planning meals based on what we have which is a first for me! Looking forward to keeping track of everything, especially the little shops in between which I think is where I spend more than I expect 🙈

Hi Everyone
Thank you for the new thread, @elsiepac. Please put me down for £140 for November. That’s for all supermarket shopping, for two adults. My month starts today and runs to the 30th.
November shopping kicked in today. We went to Sainsbugs to buy poppies and, while we were there, bought 2 packs of peppers and 500g of mushrooms. £3.80 spent, leaving £136.40 for the remainder of the month.£3.80/£140

Hi, looking to join for November having realised half way through last month what absolutely silly money I was spending at the supermarket. We're in a fortunate position that it wasn't causing a problem but it's not sustainable long term. I used to post on here many years ago (pre-children) but my account appears to be long gone so I made a new one
please can I be put down for £450 which is slightly more that I finished on in October and I only actually started paying attention half way through this month

Oooh - I used to post on this many moons ago - could probably do with keeping an eye on food spends again
I'll go for £500 for Nov for 5 of us (includes toiletries and cleaning products) with takeaways an extra £60 on top of that and see how that goes..... am planning on getting some Xmas bits in/ prepped for the freezer in that figure, too. Food stocks are currently probably a little lower than normal, too.

Hi, can I join in for November, hope to spend £180 or less (2 adults, including toiletries and cleaning stuff). October spend was £205.47 but I'll be trying to save a bit by cooking more meals from scratch.5

Can you please put me down for £320 for November. I want to include some bits and pieces for Christmas as I've still got the cake and pudding to make. Thanks4

Can I join this challenge please? Needing to get a grip on our food budget which flew out of the window during lockdown, never to return!
My budget to include food, toiletries, dog food and household items will be £450 this month, running from 1st to 31st. I've been excluded from any Government help since March and although hubby has worked throughout, we are struggling to afford everything we need. This month is a guesstimate as I've stopped keeping an eye on the budget (my bad) so hoping it will be enough!5 -
Can I be put down for £162 for Nov please?
Thank you! Completely lost the plot in October and didn't count what I spent. I hate to think what I spent... Keeping track also means I'm more likely to make and stick to my menu plans!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
