Hi all, creating back in to undeclare. DS-i-L1 asked if we could pop into Lidl for a few bits, in the way back from taking the grandchildren to a car boot sale. OH picked up some more beer for Christmas. So redeclaring  at £197.40/£200. Still under! See you all next month, mumtoomany.

  • Declaring at £603.98/£500 😱😱

This will see me into December as shopped on Saturday (£102.51) and got paid today, but sticking to actual paydays for the purpose of the challenge.
I'm continuing to eat out of the freezer with the aim of clearing old stuff and also being able to defrost it ready for a big stock up of meat.

Last day of the month so declaring spend of £250 out of budgeted £300.  Happy with this.  Will aim for £300 for December to cover Christmas and drop in January.

  • £10.96 spent since last post. Woefully over budget.
I'm only thankful that we can afford this overage. As we have been unable to do our monthly date day/night (used to be cinema and a nice meal out or similar) and our hobbies are no longer open since the virus we are okay overall as the money over was previously spent elsewhere.

    Total
    £262.44/£180.
    £82.44 over.

  • Weel added up and we spent £625.86, well well above my target of £400, but actually I think I'm learning where we go wrong.
I always try to buy as little as possible for deliveries, but then end up sending hubby to the shop for things we've forgotten etc. Despite this we're still spending much less than we were in the past. I'm going to raise my target for December though, and then hopefully work on lowering come the new year.

I came in at pence over £100 so I'll take that.  Feeling a little guilty as there was a splurge last weekend on sweets, tizer and crisps but I'm not including them as they are treats and a lot cheaper than a meal out.
