  • Currently standing at £348.12/£450, got an under £50 shop booked for delivery on Sunday evening so should come in under my lower budget of £400, which will be the 1st time this year coming in under budget. Partly due to me recently becoming a food hero on Oli0.
Need to do a food inventory over the next few days and meal plan December so we can make room in the freezer for the Christmas food. Feeling optimistic about December.

Last top up shop of the month, Aldi and Farmfoods. Spent £20.80 in total. £201.35/£200. That's me busted again. However I bought a few YS  in Aldi and, as Farm foods had Flora at 29p, ten tubs of Flora. Would have made it OH had stayed in the car, beer in the trolley. Not as bad as the last few months though. Final shop of the month for me and have squeezed in with just £2.36 left over which I shall carry over to December.  Some of what I bought today will be used in December anyway.  Think I've got all the meat I need, apart from a couple of duck breasts which the butcher hadn't got any today and said they'd be coming in tomorrow so will pop back in next week and hope they've still got some left.  They come in from France and are really nice and a decent size.

Hello all. My total for this week is £89.01. Higher than I'd like but it includes some vegan cheese for a friend who will call past over Christmas. It's for them to take home as there isn't an Asda in easy reach of where they live. Total so far is £237.47 out of £300 available. I might switch my last week to December and make that a 5 week month instead as my week starts on the 30th of November. Next month is also the month when I'm keenest on staying on track with my budget. I don't like crowded supermarkets so I'm hoping to use our newly refurbished co-op (and the money off vouchers that they have sent me) for any top up shops.

I asked the HT if he wanted me to buy any extra food/treats for Christmas and the answer was "no thanks". Zero interest in food unless he's actually hungry. The freezer is full though (again) so we won't go without. I did make gingerbread biscuits this week as Asda had a Chritmas cookie cutter set for £1 and I fancied doing tree shapes.

    Hello all
On 23 Nov I spent £1.90 at my local shop, it was for bread and a box of paper hankies. These were the only things on my shopping list and I was so glad I stuck to it. My total spend is £95.91.

Few more spends to mine. My hospital appointment on Tuesday ended up being super long and after sitting about for over 6 hours In the car because he wasn't allowed into the hospital and me having all those tests and not even being allowed a drink I figured we deserved a mcdonalds. bigger kids had school dinner on wed. Then today I picked up a loaf of bread (which one on my kids have just stood on!) and I bribed a small child with one cream lol. my total for the month is £455.18...and you know what I'm happy with that. I'm only slightly over and it was my first month back at it. MY budget included school dinners and takeaways so not bad at all.

Went with a really short shopping list and managed to spend £98.40!  It did include a lot of Christmas alcohol and food as well as a Christmas decoration I thought would go well with my collection.  Still within budget for this month so happy with that.  It should be much lower in January if this is anything to measure against.
