I asked him to text me a image of the items he alleges he received.
His reply can't be posted on here it wasn't pleasant.
He kept repeating that he wants a refund from me or I'm skewed.
Would the Garda or my local police who are the GMP have the items he received tested for forensics?.
It seems a bit far fetched for something like this.
As I advised earlier, this is way too serious a situation to be getting advice from random strangers on the internet. This is possibly international fraud, and has sparked a forensic investigation. Engage your own solicitor and follow their advice.
So more success in court. Costs vary, but for about £10000 to £25000 per day may be worth it?
But Really?
As asked earlier? "just post the pics of item, certificate and proof of posting? That you possess. That may allay fears this is windup? " You appear to have ignored that bit? LOL
But very entertaining!

I'm surprised that a schoolie from Manchester even knows where Ireland is, let alone that the Garda is the Irish police.

Sorry, but this thread is totally bizarreI try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -
Unless the OP's DNA is recorded and saved by Interpol then the suggestion that it can be used to prove the OP committed fraud is ludicrous. 🙄0

If any of us take anything useful from this, it must be "don't sell diamond jewellery on gumtree"I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.4

Just the first bit, the idea that a bank will freeze funds if someone randomnly phones the bank and claims seller is a scammer - it isn’t going to happen.
Actually that is one fact that is right.

I spoke to Santander a hour ago.
The buyer made a faster payment to me.
Chargeback can only be made on credit or debit card payments.
I was also told the police usually don't get involved with these type of reports there too busy for trivial things like this.
He would have been told to contact action fraud but that doesn't guarantee he would get a reimbursement.
They did say all sides will be considered and there could be a chance he might get a reimbursement.0 -
He has just sent me a video message.
He looks like Neil from the young ones 😂.0 -
