He gave me an address in Holywood county down to post the item to which i duly did.
How can i have the money if i cant access it due to being put on limitations?.
He said he would pay me by bank transfer.
He is now saying he has copies of our gumtree messages thats strange because apart from 2 we communicated mainly by phone.

It's clearly stated on your bank statement how they paid. Which bank is it that can not tell you how it was paid? (we all need to steer clear of them) And unless you are a business then you can't take card payments...born_again said:beyer78 said:I dont know if they paid by BACS or used a credit card or if it was a faster payment. I'm afraid I'm with others that think this is all too unbelievable. If it's true, just ignore him, let the bank conclude their investigations and you'll be able to access the money. There's no other course of action to take. If it's true.1 -
What have your bank, if this is all true, said?0

Aylesbury it is indeed true. I have a image on my phone of the item i posted to him and i took photocopies of the item and original diamond certificate from the images on my phone also the proof of posting receipt from the post office.
I called into my local branch and handed the copies to a manager who asked me to wait in her office whilst she faxed them over to the fraud investigation team.0
