Absolutely, but the poster seems to want to cancel now, rather than exercising their right to cancel within 14 days of receipt of the phone. It sounds like the contract has been formed because the phone has been dispatched.blackandbright said:IAylesbury_Duck said:
It’s our legal right to cancel the purchase so what you’re saying doesn’t really matter. Even buyers remorse is a legitimate reason. The company should refund the money and the buyer should send the items back when they arrive. If they arrive...
You can't really argue with that. You ordered with them to save a few quid and knowing of the delivery time. Now you've got buyer's remorse and are desperately trying to find ways to backtrack.AbsBerks said:3PP:The only reviews which are being removed, are mainly the negative ones which we report if the person leaving them, doesn’t provide proof of purchase. If TrustPilot are investigating the 2 positive ones that you’re referring too, then this is down to their own discretion, but it has nothing to do with us. We receive fake reviews on a daily basis from jealous competitors who are frustrated that we’ve taken away their business, hence why many get reported because we don’t tolerate people trying to damage our reputation for no good reason. As you can see, there are many negative reviews which we haven’t reported, this is because they’ve been left from genuine customers. You yourself also left a review which we’ve responded too, we didn’t report it, or asked for it to be taken offline. With the greatest of respect, you placed an order knowing what the delivery time was. You then leave a review raising your concerns which we responded too. Now you are asking for a refund because you don’t like what people who’ve never ordered from us, are saying about us on a forum! This is not a genuine or valid reason for a refund, and your card issuer will tell you the same. We kindly ask you to be patient, your order is will be arriving soon, and if it doesn’t, then we will give you a full no quibble refund. We cannot be any fairer than that.

Assuming it's even s company, it could very well be a guy in a basement pretending he's running a big business.
I just tried to look up 3PP's website on WHOIS, but thanks to the EU privacy law most of the info has been removed.

So, if you want your money back then talk with your bank. 3PP ain't gonna give it back.0 -
Why should my bank refund you because suddenly you have buyers remorse? You bought cheap! Expect tac!LipMarck said:So, if you want your money back then talk with your bank. 3PP ain't gonna give it back.1 -
This idea seems to be repeated over and over on Trust Pilot’s 3PP review page. Either by “reviewers” or by the company’s replies. Probably the same person writing it all

They always say you save a lot compared to other shops therefore you have to wait. But nobody got anything yet so all this is just a diversion.

At this stage, you'd think someone would be along with proof a phone actually turning up if it weren't a scam - there was someone pretending they'd been successful but it was clearly someone working for 3 Pin Products, when quizzed. It could of course be the legitimate business owner trying to calm nerves and get the orders in before they all start pouring off this boat and arriving at doors but I doubt it
I'm well in to my delivery window now - 02/11/20 to 22/11/20, no sign or word yet but will be sure to update the thread with any developments

'why should the police arrest that assailant for punching you in the face, it was clear he was going to do it, why didn't you block the punch?'

Maybe because they've been scammed and there's laws protecting consumers?
Also, stop bandying round 'buyers' remorse', this isn't that.

It's a scam. He'll be lucky if he gets a bag of rocks.

What are you on about, it literally is buyer's remorse. It fits the definition perfectly: The sense of regret after having made a purchase.Cloudbowski said:

To the best of my recollection (and forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm not re-reading 15 pages of speculation to check), no one on here has evidently been scammed. Yet. Once the delivery dates have come and gone and if no product arrives then yes, it will look like a scam but so far everyone has got exactly what they ordered and knew they were ordering: the promise of a cheap gadget with an exceptionally long lead time.0 -
You are being ignorant while trying to be logical, probably because its not your money which is at stack.Aylesbury_Duck said:

You really can't see this is a scam??
Trust pilot reviews are fake.
No genuine forum user received a phone yet.
Seller can't cancel even though phone isn't going to arrive to buyers home directly, its going to arrive to their UK store/warehouse and they will dispatch it using royal mail? Why can't they refund and save some cost of sending to buyer and return postage?
This is as clear as it can be, don't try to defend seller just for the sake of it.

Exposing a potentially criminal operation on a forum where people come for advice on such matters, is not buyers remorse, no one here has bought something expensive they don't need or spent too much on. They're worried they've been scammed, which is totally different to regretting a legitimate purchase.
This thread has already stopped people making the same mistake (yes, yet to be confirmed it's a mistake), it's berserk you seem to feel so much contempt for the buyers and a kind of 'tricked 'em fair and square' stance with the (potential) scammer.1
