My first home and time doing this. I had my Dad reviewed the options too. When I looked at other prices in Nov 2019 they were pretty much the same rates and direct debit options so I stuck with isupply (In hindsight I should have spent more time understanding it). Obviously I've only just received this bill as isupply have been telling me my energy usage was nothing to worry about.
This is precisely what everyone has been telling you. Your DD level has nothing to do with how much you are really paying, it's simply a guesstimate of your monthly usage, and in this case far too low. The only figure that matters is the total annual cost, which any comp site will tell you in seconds.
Your problem has resulted from a) staying on a hopelessly uncompetitive tarrif, and b) failing to give regular reads, resulting in substantial arrears. No fault of your provider.

@OpolE Don't forget that iSupply/EDF will probably block any switch as long as you are in debt.
Correct, but if the OP is not in a position to clear the debt with a single payment, then it may be possible to switch to a better tariff with the existing supplier in the meantime.

I pay 10.9p per kWh - that lot would have cost me £245 less that you've paid.  If you're concerned about monthly costs, why are you with a supplier who's screwing you over?
Hi Dave, who are you with if you don't mind me asking.
Neon Reef have been top of the cheapness charts for some time. @Gerry1 may be able to confirm if they can handle two readings from an E7 meter on a non-E7 tariff.
Yes, Neon Reef have just one single rate tariff but they will happily bill the night and day registers at the same rate.  Some price comparison websites get confused if they look up your meter type or you say you have E7, so just add your readings together and say you don't have an E7 meter, or enter a nearby address.  It's worth doing this anyway because several companies can be cost effective on E7 even if night usage is as low as about 20%.
