This is Hebe Addenda, i bought 2 of these in the summer, specifically for these large pots and they've been excellent value for money, really gorgeous summer colour, even now 🦋🔅

late clocking on, early start & up to RHS Wisley this morning. had to be early because they now require a booked slot, no longer just turn up, nearly as hard as getting delivery slot from a supermarketHowever worth the effort in the warm sun, made a nice change from usual run of the mill dayThe Canadian Memorial maples along the A3 at Bramshott looked their best in the sunshine.I've never seen a forest of them but it must be spectacularWisley looked good, and glad to say lots of people, not crowded, but at least it's an income generatedHere's a tasterEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

Marketing ploy? Who cares, if they do the business. I'm keen to get a few as the ones I have are boring.
Got my planting by the stream done.....well, some of it anyway. Now our new neighbour tells us he's going to chop down about 6 trees, so there's a good chance of more sunshine down there and potentially a more exciting mix of plants. In times past I've lost even 'bombproof plants' like Purple loosestrife and Iris robusta, due to the shade.
