Any lock downs this time may be tempered with a bit of reality, for instance leaving access to wide open spaces for exercise. However one must never underestimate the power of Stupid / Computer SaysBack on track to gardening [see how neatly I segued into it?] Today is collect beans seeds, most seem to have dried out as intended on the vine and I hope to catch them while dry & before ant real damp arrivesRunners & climbing purple podded FrenchAlthough I'm collecting the runners [Polestar] TBH they were not a runaway success this year so should I spy a cheap offer of another variety I'll try themI have Scarlet Emperor but hate PIA prepping removing the stringy sidesOne I did like was Wisley Magic but my saved old seed failed to germinateThere'll be plenty of offers around, just need to catch them at the right timeEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

Duly ordered, along with other items as one doesAlthough T & M are not my favourite firm it's any port in a storm / bird in hand etc at CV times like these should the lock down spiral and we get repeats of seed firm delays etc as per this yearWhen out collecting my own seeds yesterday some thing, squirrel I assume, has been having right good dig in the tubs the beans are inGuessing it's after the daff bulbs that are also in there, time to find my chicken mesh!Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

I hear you F, darn squirrels! Mainly go after my bird feeders here. Got lots done today, cloudy and a bit chilly but lovely to get my raised beds cleared and manured ready for next year 👍Just my opinion, no offence 🐈0

Strangely enough, one of my 'alternative personalities' was recently PPR by the management here. His avatar was Kenneth Williams and he usually ended posts with a reference to Matron followed by a double entendre. I'm quite sad, because I liked him more than me!
