Yesterday never saw daylight, spent the day doing nothing ,there was thunder and lightning around 10pm out to the west. Last night was blowing a gale could hear the bins going over that reminded me it’s bin day and would need to put it out in the morning. Just woke when I hears the wagon trundling down the close, so had to run out in dressing gown without my glasses and hope I was peering at neighbours blue bin. A quick dash to top of drive with my blue one and in to hide till they past, to bring back in.
Today I need to go to town for an appointment, so I am all showered and breakfasted, seems calm at the moment, but ventusky is showing mega bursts of wind, so may need some heavy boots so I don’t fly away.

    Great Dusty.
I've had some suggestions from the Techie lot but the mention of SSD and cables and such for old to new gear is something I'll look out for too.
I just have to find the enthusiasm to do the research.
Older gear has a USB 1, 2 or 3 port. A lot of modern stuff is now on USB-C which uses a different plug. Having 2 cables supplied to cope with both is useful. An adapter does the same job, but it's less slick IMO and may need to be bought separately.

Looks like your family had a good time eh Dusty Love your forest pics, gawd I can practically smell those trees from here. Just wants a dog or 3 running round like loons and it'd be heaven. Proper dogs mind, not that half breed mongrel nonsense that himself's 'orrible sisters managed to spend thousands of £'s on :o Must have had big windows in the dog shop cos they sure saw her coming.
I have a relative with a 'needy' dog. It can't be let off the lead or left for any length of time, it's bitten people, and it has no ability to follow basic commands. Apart from that, it's brilliant! :D Naturally, they got it cheap, by meeting some people at someone else's flat. ;)
I won't bother mentioning the problems with 3 Romanian street dogs that live across the lane. They're very good at virtue-signalling, though!. o:)
Dry and even a bit sunny here this morning, but there will be showers coming on that wind. I might get something garden-related done today. :)

Wow that was a scarey wind last night!
I thought the windows were going to come in  :o
Bit quieter now but not a lot. Seems to have stopped raining for a bit.

That's a lovely skyline you've got there Bluey. Trees and old chimneys.

Yep, i had to do the pyjama run twice yesterday Wort. I used to slip into jeans but it's too darn cold.
Mostly I just try not to scare the neighbours who get up, go to bed at the same time year round. They never forget, bins straight in and wiped down.

Ot, can't see any damage except for a bit of willow trellis down.
Think I'll plant some sunflower seeds opposite the kitchen window. That rogue one last year was really cheery.
And down the road to have a closer look at that plant.
There were several flowering shrubs on my walk.

Oh and fish at wrong time of year is wrong for the planet, wrong for breeding etc. Sadly not a forcast.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Very pretty pic, YBE. I agree with Farway, the wires draw your eye to the sunrise.

We've just had a very heavy hailstones shower - some of the 'stones' were really quite big. It wasn't on the BBC forecast, so I'm not sure I can trust the rest of the day either...

Poor needy dog :'( My Jack was off his mother too young, and honestly it's an awful lot of work to straighten it out. You never truly fully manage it either ime. And don't start me on Romanian 'street' dogs! It's a shame for the dogs, Romanian/needy or otherwise.

Can you suvners keep ahold of your storm please? I bought a load of lovely thick towels yesterday in Dunelm and they're on the line now. There wasn't a cloud in the sky when I put them out an hour ago, and it's since gone a bit dark.

Leading lines ha haa! I'll go with that. I'm no use at all at squiggling pictures about, but I wish I was cos I've got a great pic I want to use as a profile pic after my Christmas one is done with.... if anyone can help? I need a square circled but the problem is it's got writing across the top and bottom that needs keeping. I've messed about with it on my phone but I'm no nearer at all :(

It's a lovely skyline. The house in the front is the Oracle, the old chimneys on the right are terraces on the road. Huge big Edwardian things they are, but you couldn't live in one cos you'd never get your windows open for all the traffic they get. And they're the wrong way round. But you wanna see the money they go for!

Well, I prefer yours! :p Taking longer, I might have done it more delicately, but I still think yours would be best.
The weather's closed in here now, just when I'm free to do something outdoors, but according to the radar there's no rain anywhere near. :|
