Wort I have loads. I'm just trying to keep from having nothing but. Though I have seen that done and it looks great.

Haven't been on one for over 30 years, the no foreign trips bit must have stuck 😅 (either that or pecuniary circumstances…). I'm pretty sure I did take pics though, on at least one of the few trips I made in my yoof… Hard copy probably in a box somewhere…

My memory not brill either, similar with my (younger) brother who remembers more things from our childhood (though not from as young as our mum, who claimed she could remember things while still in her pram!) - the cloud one is one of the few early ones that prove the rule…

My memories don't go back to pram days, but I recall a traumatic incident around age 2, when exploring my uncle and aunt's garden. I fell backwards into a galvanised bath of slimy green water. 😨 I must've been upset, but the unsympathetic reaction of my parents was what really stuck.😭 It wasn't as if I'd done it on purpose!

If that clematis survives drought, we might have a job for it, 2p.🤩

A misty, moist start here, with little or no wind. Yesterday was also unusually calm, but a rumbling and squeaking sound on what wind there was made me investigate early on. It was Mr King, sitting on a diesel road roller, trundling around his field. 😮

Today, our leccy will be turned off between 09.30 and about 15.30 for repairs to unsatisfactory power poles. With winter on the way, that's welcome, but we've had 3 power cuts in fine weather during the past 2 weeks alone.☹️ Most electrical things reset themselves these days, but having many crashes doesn't improve computers, and our German ovens are a pain to sort out.

So, I'm offline today, and probably 'sorting-out' bits of the garden now the hedges and grass areas are mostly under control. Mrs Dusty's solution is to go shopping! 😂

Snap, I can still remember being in my pram as it was lifted by workmen over a trench being dug outside our house. So far back it was one of the stately carriage sort of pram, Push chairs had not been invented then.

The powdery mildew is doing well with the dry weather, it's galloping away now despite me clearing the courgettes.

2P, I remember you mentioning Jingle Bells clematis a bit back, I have been looking for it, not hard, just looking. I think it would do well draped over my plum tree stick once I find one.

My daff bulbs and day lilies from Farmer Gracy are moving again at last, and now on the way. Since dispatching they have been stuck in Holland for a while, presumably now cleared the dykes and are heading for Blighty, hopefully on a ferry & not a dinghy
