For irons, you need a supermarket catering for the new uni students.
What has the world come to when students are ironing their clothes…wasn't like that in my day, etc, etc, grumble grumble….
Re. the mildew, some here just spotted on courgettes too; did have some on manky toots (which were only hanging on by a thread anyhow) within the past few weeks, but thought general diagnosis was that this was a result of plants being dry at the roots… My plants are definitely not dry at the roots now, though they were for much of the summer… Fingers remaining crossed as no sign of blight on toms yet, hopefully it will be too cool…
Speaking of which, it has been cool for a while here, long out of shorts and t-shirts; and yesterday was decidedly damp in pm too; ditto this morning, and dull, looking forward to arrival of supposed heatwave, but maybe that will bring the blight🤔
Nice photos all, nothing very photogenic in my garden at the mo, must look harder…
