Thanks Brambling and Blue_Doggy. I've only been here a few days so I suppose my STS doesn't mean much! I ate less than usual yesterday but made up for it today with mince pies and biscuits 😳 Oh well, at least overall it worked out evenly

Blue as you said STS is better than a gain next year is a fresh start for us all (hopefully 🤞 ) good luck with keeping Xmas goodies to a minimum I seem to have acquired a small M&S Christmas cake, chocolate biscuits and some stollen 😳Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin3 -

A 10 oz gain for me. I'm going to stay off the diet but I'll keep posting here for maintenance purposes if that's okay. I don't want to lose track and suddenly find myself well over my cap!

I've added a 1/2lb as I can't work in smaller increments

I'm looking into the thread when I can but don't intend posting a final weight until 31 December/1 January. It's good to know we are still persevering in our endeavours to reach healthy weights.3

I thought about getting on the scales this morning but decided I rather not know
I've eaten too much rubbish this week and can feel it 🤢🤐 the plan is to be good or not so bad until Christmas, we can but try 🙄

I know that feeling well, Brambling!
Worryingly, I woke up this morning only 1 lb under my cap, having gained 1.5 lbs literally overnight. Apparently the ballet class yesterday evening wasn't enough to burn off the calories from two glasses of Appletise and some cake at the work Christmas lunch earlier in the day...or maybe it was the eggnog I made with my partner as a test run for having some friends over on the weekend? Either way this afternoon I'll be eating a much more modest lunch in the hopes of getting it back under control.
