Hopefully your get that last amount by christmas Lapis
I DID IT!!! I awoke this morning to find I’m smack on my goal! I think I’ll continue with the diet until the end of the week and then re-evaluate. If it looks like I'm properly out of the danger zone then I'll call it quits and just try not to eat too much before the sugar and fat bonanza that is Christmas. Brambling: that sounds like an excellent break. I hope you feel refreshed at the end of it.

Just here to report one lb gone. So happy about that. Still aiming to come out of this quarter lighter than I came in, and feeling a bit more optimistic about it now.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Ditty same here - I've just 'felt' a bit lighter these past couple of days (since declaring my damage limitation truce) and hopped on the scales this morning to find I'm 1/2 lb under the weight I started the quarter on. I know its not much but I put 2lbs on and kept going up/down/up/down/up since Sept. The dread of putting all the weight back on has really been worrying me, but I felt less pressured after the truce and, after this morning's weigh in, I'm feeling more optimistic too.

Hi, can I join you so late in the challenge please? I only want to lose 1lb in these last 3 weeks - I have to go unbearably slow as not eating enough gives me a nasty migraine... I have more than that to lose overall, but I'm going to aim for a rate of 1lb a month if this goes well

Welcome to the challenge Dominiquey 👋 I've added you to the chart

Good morning people
lapis lazuli congratulations on reaching your target! 🥳🏅
ditty, Sandy well done on losing that weight, it’s the established stuff that’s so hard to get rid of.Welcome Dominiquey 👋
Weighing in with a jolly STS (frustrating, but better than it might have been, when I did a progress check on Wednesday I was +2lb 😱). Ho-ho-ho!
Sadly, I’m still 9lb heavier than I was at the end of May, so lots of heavy lifting still to do (pun intended!). Sadly my body seems to like this weight, but my brain doesn’t so there’s a bit of tension there. I’m sticking with being as “good” as I can, but not expecting to lose more than a teeny tiny smidgeon before the New Year, just hoping not to put too much on over Christmas. Luckily I’m on my own this year, so can (try to) avoid a lot of the most fattening things.🎄Have a good week, all!

Hi everyone, hi Brambling, I’m a habitual starter but long time non finisher! I went back to SW online in August and managed to loose half a stone. But for the last month I cannot get back on plan plus financially now down to one wage again it has made it more tricky. On the flip side I started the Couch 2 5k programme at the same time and now try to run well jog half an hour three times a week. I have never run in my life and now in my late 50s I love it. It’s not always easy and I’m definitely not your Lycra wearing, earbuds in jogger, I’m the tracky bottom, bobble hatted, bum bag heavy breather type😳😁 Anyway I feel healthier in that sense and mentally. It’s just the weight. Would love to join in if possible, I know it’s going to be a tricky in the next weeks but at least I will be keeping track even if I go off course for a little bit. I would like to get a couple of pounds off before the festivities start and then onward and upward.
