So sorry you are having such a rough time blue. All I can say is, spoil yourself as much as possible. When it's a grim time all round you just have to be very kind to yourself.
No one is exactly flying at the moment it seems. What with the weather, Covoid, the sinister approach of Christmas, lots of financial uncertainty, its no wonder we are not in the mood for being strong willed and self-disciplined.
I've probably posted this before, but I think it bears repeating.
'Dieting is easy. It's like riding a bike. And the bike's on fire. And the ground's on fire. And everything's on fire because you're in Hell.'I believe that friends are quiet angels

Wise words monnagran and I always forget them. Thank you for reminding us - the bike thing is hilarious - you just don't know what to do but are pedalling like hell, afraid to stop but getting nowhere
In our house we are all out of sorts at the moment. Tired, achey, grumpy people. Some spoiling is needed for everyone.
Checking in with +2lb. I've been avoiding checking in, knowing that I'm pedalling like mad but just going backwards. But there, I've said it and I'll be kind to myself today and hopefully everything will align again.
Best Wishes to all that need them."Think of many things, do one"

Evening all I hope everyone is well and life isn't getting you too down
I'm just scraping in with a -1/2lb loss, but having eating carp all day I'm avoiding the scales again for a few daysa few naughties made there way into the delivery today, which were planned to last for a while 🙄 but they won't be a problem for much longer as I've made my way through them. I do know better than to have them in the house as I've no willpower. At least I've stocked up on fruit and veg

Evening Brambling. I've been working from home in the kitchen recently - proximity to the fridge isn't a good idea, but its a lovely light room. At least this week I've stocked up on healthy foods and made some healthier meals. I watched a TED talk about our brains being regenerated by healthy foods, and also staving off depression. Thought its got to be worth a try"Think of many things, do one"

Hi weighing in at -2lb, hard as am WFH this week, managed to go on a pre work run this morning and I immediately felt it was OK to eat a granola bar! Back in the right direction though.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hello everyoneIm the queen of lame excuses.
I celebrated my sixtieth with food, which was all well and good as relatively short lived.
then I got a bit of work (im a guardian for boys at a boarding school) which was a full suspension kf two boys for three nights. This meant teenage biy food of pizza and spaghetti bol etc.Got rid of them on Saturday and on Monday another biy got suspended for three nights so its still not exactly a diet of low calorie foods!
i just don't feel i can sit down to something different.
co sequently i haven't been on the scales and am a bit scared.
think Ill hop on in the morning though.
oh lordy, got the munchies again, my daughter is 38 weeks pregnant , on a fetal heart and movement monitor and they are saying he is very small.Norn Iron Club member 4736
