Having read some responses on here..I'm thinking, are people really this unfeeling, judgmental and cruel these days?

OP  is 26 and had
survive by herself having been thrown out at 16 by her "parents" with no support of any kind from anywhere? 

I was 23 when I moved continents, alone. Not because I wanted to travel and have fun but because I was born in a place you'd run away from if you stayed there for ten days. I had to survive on next to nothing. Had visa issues too.

Got married to ex husband at 25 because guess what? It was either that or go back to the hell hole. Survival, pure and simple. No, I didn't love him and no, he didn't know that I didn't love him.

If this post is for real . . I get it.

Well, I don’t know why people report posts for that reason.  All that happens is the thread gets deleted.  I don’t come on here much now, but if the ignore button is still here, better to use that than report. 🙄

All it said was I think it's disgusting to marry someone for a visa and feel sorry for the ex husband. Apparently though that's fine....

Oh, I didn’t see the post.  But, although people might disagree with you, it’s a public forum and people do have opposing views.

 But, generally, I do think people sometimes have to make life choices others might disapprove of, but sometimes circumstances are not all we’d wish in life, and we have to do dodgy things! 😉

Oh indeed, do whateve ryou want, some people will agree, some will disagree. It's the silencing of people i think is wrong
