So...I am in contact with my indemnity insurers, to see if I can get any of the legal fees back from the professional thing, now its resolved.

DGF and I have been planning very cheap dates, that will still be fun, we are quite excited about it. Walk this Saturday, in central London along the canal.

Other than that staying as frugal and am on NSD number 2 of the month.

Went back to yoga! Been paying for the last 5 weeks without going due to the stress. Very naughty. But wanted to keep the opportunity open.

Anyway...the financial good news in relation to this as there are more options for the 'packages' I am going to be saving £60 a month. Whoop!

    NSD3 yesterday.

Got some action on the 50 before I am 50 list - mainly walks and yoga.

Saturday walked the canal, and through regents park up to Little Venice (well nearly) 8.5 miles.
Sunday walked from Brixton, up through Kennington park, and on to the Southbank. Saw the COVID memorial wall.

Been to yoga this morning. ❤️

It's really lovely. Painted hearts with people's names in them.

Gosh well...I think I overdid it last weekend. Was tired all week. So had quite a lot less walking this weekend. Only 6 miles of mooching, so not a walk as such.

There have been a few conversations this week with my boss. Shifting into a new project/role (Clinical Improvement) with more responsibility and seniority (increase in salary too, in time). And here I was thinking I would stay steady for a while after the professional thing being done and dusted. There will be some transition time though.

CC 1 statement is out, figures are updated. Really pushing for the 50% off the beginning total by the end of the year. £2086 to go. Fingers crossed...and just paid off another £300 on CC2.

    Morning.

Gosh, am feeling more like my usual self.

Have heard back from my solicitor, to hopefully get some movement on claiming money back on the indemnity insurance for the legal fees for the professional thing now it is resolved. It was 25 hours she did. It was a very good job done too! Fingers crossed!

A little more movement on the new role at work is emerging. But still in an embryonic stage. But think I will be in the office about 3 days a week. it will be a big jump in costs though! commuting again.

So looking forward to my holiday. Cannot wait to have a proper period of relaxation after the stress of the last year or so, professional thing plus working at home all the time, studying at Oxford, debt busting...etc etc.
