  • Just caught up on your diary. You are doing well on staying focused on debt busting in spite of the professional legal stuff which must be worrying. I love the idea of setting 50 walks before you are 50. I am early retired and live in Cornwall and set myself the challenge of walking the South West Coast Path. Around a third completed so far.

So I had a week off work, it has been a bit bumpy, as the defense for the professional problem was due today, but the solicitor has requested an extension as it's not ready. I was hoping it would be all done for going back to work. But it's not, and that is where we are.

Good news is; some proper conversations with my ex- maybe not so ex, taking it slowly. Lovely trip to the castle and my dad and step mum were in good form. My longest friend has sent me money to escape to Cornwall with her at the weekend. So that will be a lovely thing after working hard at work, and on the legal stuff for the week.  So I can see a bit of light. and there will be a 'its all done for now' about the professional stuff, later on in the week.

  • Oh my, what a couple of weeks.

It was incredibly stressful getting the response to the Professional thing completed. All sorts of mini dramas on the side of the solicitor. But it was done. But the relief brought all sorts of things. I went to Cornwall for the weekend - a lot of traveling and my friend paid for the train ticket. I bumped my head and I think I have had mild concussion! Did have an incredible walk though.

CC3 - has disappeared off my signature -  I balance transferred it to CC1 as it was becoming increasingly difficult to access a working system to pay CC3 i was on the phone for about an hour and then got fed up and transferred it. One less stress moving forward. I will cancel that card as soon as the statement is through.

Awaiting the statement for CC2 and then I will update.

Canceled a haircut tomorrow, they cut it too short last time and I am growing it out a bit or a lot, not sure which yet!

  • So it's almost next month, and I am looking forward to it...I will find out about the next stage of the professional thing. I am going on holiday, with my daughter, to Ludlow.

I need to review my 50 things before I am 50. But I know I need to do a lot better!

I have reconciled with my DGF it's been a few weeks now. It's really lovely.

I have been really busy at work this week and last, as I have been covering for my supervisor, as well as my own very busy workload. But I am so happy that I have had the focus and attention to do so. My head seems to be fine now, and all is well.

Nearly at 40% off the debt.
