Morning all
Weird dream woke me at 4am, then I was wide awake. Drifted off to sleep eventually, feel groggy now.
About 6 months ago I borrowed a bike turbo trainer from a friend of a friend for DS and need to return it. I havent seen or spoken to this person since and as time has gone on I have felt more awkward about taking it back, how stupid is that! I messaged her first thing this morning and she hasnt replied, would love to get rid of it, its worth about £50 and I dont want her thinking I am trying to hang on to it permanently.
Need to go to the tip, DH thinks we can get our old fridge in the car, I am not sure. Need to do finance spreadsheets (have been spending too much online this month), then not sure what else, think DH wants to watch footie on the telly, I do have a good book that I started yesterday.8 -
Round 1 completed + pegged out second load of washing, WUDUPA a bowl of pots, reloaded the bowl with pots, emptied two carrier bags of 'stuff' brought in from DS's car - rubbish binned, 12 plastic bottles and 15 cans to be rinsed and recycled. Toast eaten and it turned out that it wasn't a three brew day - it was toast and let's have a coffee now day.

Another bag of stuff for charity shop, a dinner service I don't like and have never used. Plus a few other bits out of the kitchen cupboard. Will try and fill the bag over the next few days.
Very cold so not keen on gardening.
Soup for lunch

We are having a VERY Dot-day.. she has emptied a full tub of baby powder (DS1's) all over the floor in one room.. it actually smells quite nice but those with breathing issues will understand my pain! She has been set to vacuum that up.. along with Pixie who is her accomplice in most naughty activities.
WM on with winter coats.
OH and Meem away to workDS1 away until Tuesday with dil and Fabian.Girls fedlunch.
Next job is banana muffins and plain scones and maybe some more twinks if I can bear to stand in the kitchen any longer.
DS2 been to shop for bread and I forgot to have him buy sugar.. oops.. best send him out again because I don't want to go!
Girls can have a scrub, we need to find uniforms, Squeak has PE tomorrow.. and I need to sort pack ups, find shoes and coats and bags and check homework.. I know Pixie has done hers she had enough complaints about it. I then need to scrub my smelly self and we might then be set for tomorrow when I have a whole new list of fun!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)5 -
Afternoon all
House is all clean, all rooms dusted and hoovered, bins and litter trays emptied and washed out, bathroom, en suite, utility, kitchen and downstairs loo all scrubbed and floors mopped. Bolognese just simmering, will be made in to a couple of freezer meals, menu plan for the week done.
DH has gone up to work, I’m going to sit in the conservatory in the sun with my book for a while. WM is swishing with a second load, will fling that in the TD as i doubt it will dry outside today.
First things first; kettle on, just spotted some mini rolls in the cupboard that I bought a couple of weeks ago, I think I will have one with my cuppa, nom nom.
Hope you are all having a good day x7 -
Boog (aged 21) sent to bed .. Dot was setting off Boogs behavioural issues (Aspergers) .. Dot had electronic devices removed and was given colouring to do.. which she hates.. but once she calmed down she has done some homework and played on the Switch.. they are now going to bed having crumbled polystyrene from lord knows whereall over the blooming floor!!
DW done, Coats washed and hung up to dry.. Nutkin puled my coat down just so he could pee on it.. I am going to tie his whizzer in a knot!
Pack ups all done for tomorrow
Squeak told for the 19th time to get her PE kit.. I swear that child has the shortest attention span ever.
I will get these 3 to bed, find uniforms while making a cuppa and vacuum these bits before the cats inhale them.. then a shower before my hair gets up and puts itself in the WM!!
