Good morning all,
Struggled to get to sleep, then woke up around 4am, freezing cold as the duvet had disappeared to the other side of the bed 😡. 

I have put a load in the wm and ordered DD’s repeat prescription. The rest of the day is work, then home for an easy pasta dinner and just maybe a slurp of Friday wine. I miss my girl film Fridays with DD, now that DH doesn’t have a pub to retreat to for a couple of hours each week.
I might spend the evening planning Valii’s Flylady Only Virtual Special Birthday Party instead 😉

Garden roller given to a very happy chap this morning and he was even happier when I told him I definitely did not want it back, the only reason it hadn't gone to the tip was it was too heavy
Horrid wet and windy here today but should clear up later and tomorrow should a least be dry, but Sunday wet again.

Breakfast and then down to the pharmacy and OH prescription is still wrong, and will pick up something for dinner

It is lasing it down here and the wind is blowing a major hoolie.

So far, not a lot done, kitchen is done and clean, dried my hair twice as I went outside to secure everything down even more than we had last night

Discovered my phone does not do track and trace gov. thing as it is an old model, if the gov, thinks I am rushing out to buy a new phone they have another thing coming, but I am happy to track and trace. Do they not think about old models of phone when designing these app things?

Kaz.. I have an Iphone X and it is throwing a wobbly about it, I think it shares my feelings on the idiocy and futility of using it. It isn't just older phones.. there is also the question of whether any thought at all has gone into any of the current guidance.. you can go to the pub, concerts, any public space, shopping, church, work including factories and offices with hundreds of strangers but you can't visit your next door neighbour or your friend or family member who is housebound... utterly insane. My nanna is 95 and not been out since goodness knows when, she has actually lost her noodles a bit due to it.. but thats ok because she is old and expendable.. between my husband, son and daughter at work they see around 600+ people every day and that's ok. My girls are at (2 different) schools with 500+ other people and that's ok. There is no rhyme or reason or logic to any of it, it is all about sucking money into the coffers and not paying out anything and again it is the poor and sick who are suffering as a result. It makes me very cross.

TRYING to sort out an account I tried opening last November.. I got a bit further this time than I did previously.. I managed to request a new activation code as the old one didn't work.. see if we can get anywhere this time.. I did have to guess my Id and passwords to log in though.. success there.. and it is a user Id I have never used naywhere else so nothing short of a miracle I guessed that!

I am on the verge of a massive screaming raging breakdown...  I am sick of the state of this hovel, I am sick of everyone pretending they are stupid, I am beyond sick of the gross carpets which I can not wash because my carpet washer is broken and I need a new one. My carpets are very smelly (cat/dirt/feet/food/drinks etc)... I just want to burn it to the ground and start again.

So... I need to focus the rage which is easier said than done.
Boog is refusing to take a job application to the restaurant at the end of the street... I may be forced to kill him dead... yes I have thoughts of arson and murder today lol... it's not the first time and I haven't done it yet!

WM's need to be on.. but the sky is leaking so I need to get airers out... oooh I can put them in the middle room.. no, OH can before he goes to work.. I shall get on that right now. .. DONE.. He is having a fit over it.. my work here is done lol.. .. spread the misery dahlink!
TD will be on with undies etc.
DW needs 2 runs
Bananas need using up.
WASH WINTER COATS...

OH is next off Wednesday so he can have a list drawn up for then.. fridge and fish on it already.

I usually only read along but felt compelled to post. Very succinctly put pigpen 👏 I am incandescent about the attitude of Bojo & cronies 👿 - I watched Russell Howard last night - “phone 111 for an emergency & book an appointment” to visit A&E” - how cretinous is that - the stupidity emanating from our politicians beggars belief - I do not have the words to express the anger, rage, sheer disbelief etc. 

I have never been so pleased that I joined the MSE OS forum - you are all keeping me sane 👏 or should that be sane-ish 😉

The senco called and I told her about the sensory processing service which has just this week opened for referrals and said there are many children who will benfit and dropped a few names, said I was involved in setting it up and am very excited to see these children start to blossom and enjoy education.. I was gloriously charming and lovely and polite.. two-faced doesn't even cover what I am! Hoping this has secured a referral for Dot and Spam though, they would both very much benefit from it.

Here's to progress!

Mrs SD.. it is all very confusing and worrying that people, wonderful human beings are being treated as expendable and unimportant and those who need the most protection and care are being thrown to the wolves... it is awful.. it shows very clearly who and what is important to the government.

Pigpen, I am very pleased for you. And I agree wholeheartedly with what you say. The comp school I work in has 2,100 on roll at the moment, in supposed 'bubbles' of year groups, which is laughable in itself. Myself and my colleagues are absolutely in the thick of it all day long, surrounded by hundreds of teens with zero distancing going on, but I can't visit anyone in my family. Bojo and co ought to come to an inner city school like mine and see what life is really like.

I digress 😉

Work done, butcher visited, next is swimming lessons (yawn), footie training (brrrr) then wine and pizza. I wish we could just skip to the end of that list but sadly no.

Hooray for progress with the referral, pigpen   And I'm another one who agrees wholeheartedly with you about who and what is important to our current government.

This morning I  put the first coat of varnish on the second side of all the shelves.  I started late, having been in the WAC for two hours from 3.30 am with a bag of frozen peas on my shoulder, mug of hot tea in my hand, my thick dressing gown round my shoulders and fleecy blanket round my feet, and reclining on four pillows - true Granny style! - so once I got back to sleep I didn't wake up until DH emerged from his cocoon just after 9.00

We have out to a GC for lunch - DH's suggestion - and not to the usual place but a bit further away.  After a delicious first course of HM cottage pie *and* chips and veg, we went mad and shared puddings: cheesecake with ice cream [brrrr!] and spotted !!!!!! with custard [nom-nom], so I am now pleasantly full.  Tea will be a simple mushroom omelette.

I need to write some cards and post/deliver them locally, then will carry on with Rosie for her walk.  I'm avoiding the covert which was shady, damp and very cold yesterday.

Dinner money and music lessons caught up with, holiday payment made, OH's bills paid. his new credit card PIN and new bank card arrived.. just need their counterparts and we can activate and start doing balance transfers. He is also cultivating a cold.. joy!

and now I need to feed the girls and the TD and get everything running again..

I then need to do a meat order.. chicken, bacon and pork steaks.. thats pretty much it. I was going to do tesco.. then iceland.. but I have no freezer space for some reason, it is just full of nothing.. I must run them both down to nothing I think and start again before I need to fill it with christmas goodies!

This referral off my mind is a huge weight lifted.
