I've put stuff in the bin, and vacuumed up confetti that was in a gift. I've had a lovely day. Thank you for good wishes here and on FB.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Still just on the right day, happy birthday Valli.
Mr N did quite a lot of hoovering and polishing in the lounge this morning.
I spent much of the day continuing to put my CPD on the computer so hoping to see the bottom of my in tray soon.
Filled bird feeders.
Checked greenhouse; small tomatoes coming to the end but the large Black Russians are in full production.
Picked kale for dinner, must check how well kale survives inclement weather - should I pick it all and freeze it or will it be ok outside. Very wild, windy and wet today - missed the window of sun when I should have gone for a run.
Picked some apples and made a blackberry and apple crumble.
Realised that we had 2 forms which need to be somewhere by Monday am so quickly filled them in and drove to a couple of villages along to catch the post, having missed our village 10.30 one.
Can't remember what else I did; nothing mind blowing.........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -

Frontline has been rubbish since they made it weaker so it could be sold over the counter. My mogs have Advantage which is also available for dogs and has been fabulous.

ASB I ended up getting tablets (Comfortis) on prescription for Poppy. I also used Indorex spray to fumigate the house.

Morning all and thank you for the doggy advice. Would love to be in bed but an hours drive to football beckons. At least it's dry. I have already loaded the log basket for later, and got the pork out of the fridge to rest.I must mela plan later, pick up some potatoes and generally get ready for Monday.Happy Sundays guys xx8

Morning all
We had a good day out yesterday, a nice long walk, picnic in a sunny, sheltered spot that we found and then relaxed for the evening when we got home. Definitely what the doctor ordered I think!
I slept really well last night... maybe it was all the walking! Feeling a bit creaky this morning but I expect that will ease after I’ve moved about a bit. Today I need to catch up on the flying and I think DH wants to do a few garden jobs. Second cuppa first for me and ease myself in to the day.
Have a good one, back later x6 -
Morning all. I was in the WAC with Valli and haven't been back to sleep since.
Instead, I have already partaken of 2 cuppas and a large marmalade sandwich, while setting up the new-to-me printer which my kind NDN asked me to put on Freecycle when she was clearing out her late husband's office - I did ask her if I might keep it myself. Ever since my old laser printer stopped working (about 2 years ago?) DH and I have been sharing his wireless colour inkjet which is taking up space in the utility - the only place where we can both get it to work. It was always my intention to buy a new inkjet for myself when the study was finished, so that he could move his printer into a more convenient place for himself in his man cave. But who am I to turn down the offer of a free, almost new, b/w laser printer with 2 spare toner cartridges? It works perfectly well for most of my needs. And if I do need colour, well, I rather doubt that DH will ever get round to moving the inkjet - his man cave is far too cluttered to fit it in easily - so I still have access to that!
Today's plan (an easy one that won't upset round):
- Shower, dress and breakfast
- Put brisket and veg in SC
- Church
- Coffee
- Salad lunch
- Coffee, with zzz if needed
- Rosie's walk
- Cup of tea
- Start moving files and books that are currently cluttering up my bedroom onto the new shelves in the study
- More cups of tea, as required
- Easy evening meal
- Slump in front of TV with more coffee
- Bed
Should be doable!
Hope everyone has a restful day.
(((Hugs))) all round, especially to Jazee and MrJ xx

Good morning,
Flying catch up and garden jobs on the list for here too, along with the usual Sunday meal plan and freezer sort out, which always seems to fall off the end of the list.Narc0, kale should be absolutely fine outside. Bank it up a bit if it needs it to stop the plants from being blown over x
Have a lovely Sunday all. I guess that I had better actually get dressed and do something other than drink tea if I am going to get anything done today.7 -
Morning xx
I was in the WAC too. Eventually I gave up and got up - first load of washing has been pegged out and second load is swishing. Second brew has been supped - I'm debating whether it's a three brew morning or not.
iona - that's my sort of a listEnjoy xx
I'm in 'where do I start?' mode. Slightly overwhelmed - too much going on around me at home, at work, in the world. And breathe ....
Round 1 =
feed the birds
put out the rubbish / recycling
rinse & recycle all cans
There that's do-able for starters and it will MAD.
Hugs to all
Rxx.
