It is quite a strong statement from a paralegal. I would submit it is up to a court to decide if getting help online to produce a defence is de facto unreasonable
Especially as their WS is usually a template itself..

They know what the MSE forum starting defence looks like by now, obviously! SAme as we recognise THEIR template WS, full of prolix and out of context court cases...

I seem to recall Mr wilder is not liked  very much by judges his actions in county court have been mentioned before 

ok him passing buck and blaming legal co for that email , but they have copied him in and he knows what is going on

I'm wondering if the claimant's unreasonable behaviour could be dealt with as a preliminary matter before the hearing starts.
Telling someone that it is unreasonable to use the internet for research is wholly unreasonable, and needs to be brought to the judge's attention at some point.
