That's all part of the scam - even if they 'win' in court they'll lose money and it's all just orchestrated to try and get you to pay up without question. Sadly, most people do just settle because they feel they'll lose against professional litigators but the reality is the judge is usually pretty fair and the parking companies use the cheapest representatives they can find (because it's a puny claim and they are already losing money).
You could always tell them that you feel their chances of success in court are pretty slim so in order for them "to save costs and court time" you'll be happy for them to just drop it entirely and won't pursue *them* for your costs to date.

So latest update.I received an email from them seeking costs in court for "unreasonable behaviour" they cited in their witenss statement that I c&p info from internet in my defence statement.,What I stated was I sought assitance from the internet in addition to legal help which I think is perfectly acceptable. Their fees total over a thousand pounds with VAT! Obvously worrying.
Their fees are for wok carried out ,surely they should have mentioned this earlier also.1 -

Can you elaborate "Only a fool or a Contract Law legal would not do so imo."
IMO, if you are not familiar with the law, it is entirely sensible to research the subject on the internet. The PPCs contention that doing so is somehow unreasonable is absurd. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

If it is Ms Kemp, perhaps an enquiry regarding the colour of her her undergarments may be the way to go. . It seems to work with me with unwanted calls from fake Amazon Prime calls from Indian ladies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

So latest update.I received an email from them seeking costs in court for "unreasonable behaviour"Who are 'them'?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
