Hope you get your car back soon Ally, your commute sounds horrendous :#
Made my marrow chutney, and am very pleased with it. I decided that the recipes in my books were too boring, so looked for something more interesting on the internet. I used this one http://www.thereallygoodlife.com/463/spicy-marrow-chutney-recipe/ if any fellow giant courgette owners are interested.
It is lovely, hot, sweet and sour all together. It made 4 and a half jars. Good use of a couple of overgrown courgettes!
hurrah another marrow idea! I managed to pick another 2 ginormous ones today, which go well with the 2 I already had and 2 courgettes!

I definitely have enough for a batch of jam and the chutney :)

Great day today with the family no massive spends and no work. Calling that a win.

@carrielovesfanta thanks, somedays I'm better than others at the moment. Difficult time all round I think.

  • sorry to be pedantic @DawnW but the meal you have described is enchiladas not quesadillas (which are cheese, and other bits and bobs on a wrap and either folded and in half or another wrap on top and fried both sides). I feel, for the record, we should be accurate! :joy:

ditty I've been rocking and loving the midi skirt recently  highly recommend as quite a flattering length
Thank you for clarifying @d@determined_new_ms I thought we had got it wrong. Enchiladas are a firm favourite here.

Thanks for the clarification DNMS - I have come across quesadillas, but was not keen on them due to the frying (not a great fried food fan). Seriously, do try the marrow chutney, it is gorgeous, hard not to eat it straight from the pan!
