Hi guys. I wrote a post out earlier about all the marvelous things I was going to do, but somewhere along the lines I lost it! All good here today is the first day I've had no pain - it is a blessed relief!

     small things I've done today:
    * finally made the spag bol - used up a portion of roasted tom sauce, a hg courgette & 3 hg carrots
    * met a friend for a belated birthday brunch and treated her from my birthday piggy  I love having little accounts I can take money from
    * madam had last burger for tea as a use up with hg cucumber
    * went around charity shops with friend and picked up some wedge shoes, a gold sequin dress that needs altering. Going to really think about this as it will be a challenge, and a few books & toys for when dg2 comes to visit. Also a super cute xmas jumper for madam for £2 and a book I've put away for xmas for her for 50 p  s
    * load of washing, line dried and put away
    * packed lunched prepped ready to grab in the morning
    * have done some rounds of the sock, plan to do some more later.
    * sold our dog crate for £20 that has been cluttering our garage for 18 months! Money put in the mortgage over-payment pot. Think this month I will be able to make a £300 op. Wondering if I should just stick it in a savings account to accumulate a titchy bit of interest and pay at the end o the year.... Feeling motivated to sell more stuff!
    * have had a paid repair, a tear to a school dress at the hem. It was a 20 minute job. Need to hem a skirt for a friend in exchange for some painted rocks/easter eggs. Again it will be a 20 minute job
    * think I will make some overnight oats with free stewed apples
    * finally went up in the loft. Not very much for xmas, pjs/onesie for madam, a hat & gloves set which I've brought down to put in the place where all that lives. Got a suitcase down to bring out my autumn/winter clothes and pack awa the summer things. Pleased to find a pair of black jeans obviously put up there as they didn't fit now fits just at the time I need a new pair

Actually I achieved quite a lot today!

Feeling a bit out of sorts so will have and early night, don't want to get ill on the back of the toothache! See you all tomorrow

  • Morning folks!

Friday - woohoo! Feeling tired this morning after a disturbed night and I think my ear is playing up as I'm a bit dizzy. Also feeling a bit fizzy anxiety-wise so I think it's going to be a headphones on and focus up kind of day.

Went through the budget sheet last night and rolled onto the new month. Is anyone else finidng that they are spending a fortune on food still? We are eating more fruit and veg, which is part of it and I'm still over-ordering slightly to get my emergency box topped up, but still! Perhaps the prices have gone up?

Nothing exciting doing today. Been to the gym early. Did not smash today's workout but gave it my best shot. Last 200m run though I swallowed a bug. Bluegh! Going to be having a lazy evening tonight watching the first day's coverage of the Crossfit Games. I do love Tia Toomey, but I kinda want someone else to win this year. Also hoping that Fikowski or Vellner can knock Matt Fraser off his perch but I don't think it will happen.

    Right-o, nose to the proverbial

    Have a good one all

    Hi everyone

Feeling really rubbish and compounded by the fact nothing seems to be going right -
Sink no 1 arrived but when opened cracked so had to tip it, ordered sink no 2, had to wait for delivery due to shortage, sink no 2 delivered yesterday by RM - boxed in right state and another damaged sink - so we took it straight back to B&Q.  We've deceided to stick with what we have for now as nothing  wrong with it and am so glad we didn't take it out prior to deliveries of above sinks or we would be stuck as there is apparently a sink shortage!!

    So far today

    Checked Bank & made PAD
Collected presciptions (and every month I am thankful that I have been able to buy a pre-payment card)
    Collected freebies Shopmium and COS
    Uploaded receipt to Shopmium/COS/Shoppix

    Later
    Swagbucks
    Purge a few emails
    Enter a few comps
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
    Check: Lucky Bob, PMP, WinaDinner
Read or knit (depending on headache)
    Craft

    Have a good day.

Only thing debt related today is to check the yolt app and categorise anything new. Other than that it’s a rest day.

    mindset goals -
finish work before 7.00pm and have one clear weekend day no work.

@ditty1234 I don’t envy your job especially in these strange times.

@carrielovesfanta consistency is key with gym so well done for getting through the workout. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
    Thanks @alt80 :)
And enjoy your free day at the weekend!

    Evening all :)
    Today looked like this:
    Early morning dog walk
Cleaned bathroom, hoovered and dusted bedroom
My elderly washing machine made some really funny noises yesterday :*  Hope it hasn't died!
Freezer tetris, managed to get the stewed apple and ratatouille I made yesterday in
Made liver and bacon casserole and a big chilli - only veg etc to cook for a few days - or may freeze some if I can face more tetris B)
Picked yet more French beans and put the previous open frozen batch into bags
Still need to check banks and clean up kitchen after cooking :|
