You've made such great progress at turning your life around in the last year, alt - well done, and well done you for having the grit and resilience to stick with it when things haven't gone as you intended.
And you should be really proud of yourself for being on day 111; that you picked yourself up and restarted when you had the after rehab relapse was probably a defining moment for you, and look where its led to - day 111, brilliant! Keep at it and keep going👍2 -
Well done on coming so far in the past year. Proof you can change your life for the better if you have the determination.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

You have come a long way in the last year. Keep it up.
Day 111 today.0 -
Hah - I had a knife at that age. My mum was keen on the outdoorsy rural life you speak about. I still have it and was using it a few days ago - and still have all my fingers, of course!Pocket money - of course he isn't keen on earning at the moment, because he hasn't felt the lack of anything money could buy so why should he want money? He needs to have unfulfilled desires to develop any drive to fill them (and prioritise between them). Currently his way of getting things is to say he wants it, and if that doesn't work pester and act up.Eleventy one days! Nice number. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Ha So you visited the tip yesterday
Ravenshead well when I was young it didn't exist. It was known as Fishpool and consisted of clumps of houses along the existing roads, Main Rd, Chapel Lane, Longdale Lane, Kighill Lane Nottingham Rd and of course the few enormous houses in Newstead Abbey woods.
It started to be developed in the 1960s.
Finding the hoard didn't do it any harm.

If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
Day 111. No spending apart from the planned. I am considering booking accommodation next month rather than camping out at the parents’. Just can’t face it tbh. Will be an additional spend I know but they live in a 1 bed flat, it’s tiny and I just can’t deal with it.
Struggling generally with the negative thoughts doing the work from the pros to keep it at bay best I can know what it leads to if I don’t. Know I don’t deserve to be ok but trying to be grateful generally etc.Probably never really going to be one of those people who just loves life for life’s sake still no point for me unless I’m working towards getting to the next level. Short lived pleasure though, there’s always someone four levels on lol. Still find it fascinating how a lot on here have some sort of enough button. Is what it is.0 -
@SanguineGina / @Sun_Addict / @RelievedSheff thank you glad I am where I am rn. @SanguineGina don’t pick yourself up and get on, never get anywhere. Might whinge and rant a lot though ha but it’s the result what matters. I never want to touch it again, be saying the day I die it’s day whatever and have never been back to day 1 since the last time. It’s a disgusting habit I want not to partake in again.
@warby68 multi tool makes more sense than the knife haha
@theoretica good point mate idk applies to my Mes too I think lol.0 -
I think some accommodation might be a good idea - a release valve - as long as you're careful how you sell it.
5 people in a small 1 bed does have potential to go a little south especially if there's been a while since you met up and a few tricky subjects on the table.
Your son could then have sleepovers with grandparents, you get some couple time and you could even do swaps with the parents for a bit if its a nice place and they can have a change too.2 -
Be careful not to offend your parents if you do decide to book accommodation. They will be looking forward to having you all over to stay even if it will be a squeeze. That's what parents do 😀1
