    Great about the sale.

I don’t think you’ve become lazy, I think you have adapted to who you are off drugs. You’ve always said when on the stuff you can go all night. That isn’t normal for our bodies as they need sleep.

Enjoy picking up the milk float. I’m sure you’ll at least enjoy your sons excitement!

You have to find that £16 from somewhere to get below £30k. Brilliant  reduction of £4680 in one month though.  That is awesome.  Looks like you need to throw £2k per month at those cards to get them all clear within the deal periods and you will then be credit card debt free by next November.

Great that the EQC has surpassed your expectations so win win there on financial side as much cheaper to run than BMW.  I am tempted to go down that route myself on my next car but DH not convinced electric way to go yet until range and infrastructure in place for long journeys.  The electric cars I have been in have been so quiet you can hardly hear them but as a walker and cyclist I am a little worried that people won't be able to hear the cars coming along our rural quiet country lanes. Sometimes the only clue there is a car coming is the sound of the engine which obviously will not be apparent as more people move to electric vehicles.

Having no access to money has obviously worked for you in terms of you not being tempted to buy anything off plan and glad to see your wife is back on the program again.

Just goes to show petrolhead's do like different cars, when a good one pops up the badge doesn't matter as you've now seen for yourself.

I understand why you're setting the £20 allowance. Honestly, if it works for you, stick with it and reassess in the future.

Fingers crossed the Mrs sticks to her side of the deal, it's beneficial for all three of you

Glad the new car has met with your approval 😁 Well done on paying all that off. I’d have to pay that £16 off to get it under £30k.

So you CAN teach an old dog new tricks :)

I would love that car. No flak from me, I thought it was great that you got yourself open minded enough to go for it and to let wife lead so its a real bonus you actually love it. It wouldn't surprise me either if the RR starts to mean just a little bit less as time goes by.

Really pleased for you - finances sound broadly on track. I agree, stick to £20 for as long as you want. The roadblocks are working very well for you.

    Happy day 65!

Glad you liked the milk float! Well done on the massive reduction on the debt front. Hope this is the start of the wife turning a corner with spending too.

    Enjoy your weekend.
