Day 61 through. Spoke too soon re quieter morning fml this evening I was really !!!!!! glad to switch the computer off almost forgot how much hassle some tenants can be and these are the !!!!!! commercial ones haha. Almost poured myself a drink when I walked in the house but the wife reminded me today was meant to be an AF day so got a cup of Chamomile tea instead; meant to be soothing ha fml. Do quite enjoy it tbf but I'm not sure it does that much def not same as a couple of glasses of wine and a few pills.

Wife not spent off plan. I've not (can't lol). Planning to go to bed early again.

Meant to add had a look through plan for coming year - told wife she wants to carry on spending on !!!!!! other stuff needs to be reduced as I'm not letting this go on forever. She knows I'm serious so idk will see if she either starts to wind it in or if I need to start taking her toys off her.

It’s an age thing, you’re not bothered at all about gardens then suddenly you are.  Have you any villages near you doing open gardens (our village do it every 2 years) they are really good and normally only about a fiver.

That actually sounds like a really nice birthday treat.  I would love that too. Nice idea by your wife.

Day 62. Fair amount of work planned to get through. Reallocated a couple of jobs having looked through staff diaries - I’ve been trying to do more than I should these past few weeks. Used to have a drink practically every night pre lockdown, not an excessive amount but I don’t think that’s great either tbh glad I didn’t last night - was really quite badly craving alcohol not something that happens too often but I’m better without drinking when in that mood. Tbh I think back and just realise my life was pretty !!!!!! pre lockdown all I did was work, use substances and spend money to fairly extreme levels on occasion. I’ve said plenty of times on here I’m not someone who is going to stop liking nice things and sell up to live in a tiny house and drive a 1.0litre car. Stand by that now but I’m enjoying planning how I’m going to spend my money. I would like to buy the MG off my mate he knows this sometimes have a look at it. It’s not worth a lot of money but I’m looking forward to it becoming mine. I’m not sure about another fast sports car. Part of me would still like an AM but it reminds me of a part of my life I’d rather forget so possibly have spoiled that one for myself idk.

Friday I’m having off work - planned out and will stick with it this week. My son is excited about the EQC, wife is also and I’m not going to spoil it for them because it’s not all about what I want.

Your posts have also made me smile this morning. It is nice to see just how far you have come in a relatively short space of time.

Your birthday treat sounds lovely and I'm sure that you will all enjoy it.

Glad you are having a day off on Friday as well. You do need to make sure you keep a sensible work/life ratio.

    You are doing great :)
