I think the key for you will be keeping yourself busy.

When the wife comes back perhaps you can do the house work together?

I have warned the other half that when I go back to the office in a couple of weeks he is going to have to help me do the house work, the garden and the van. I won't have time to do it all myself then.

Is that £570 things to keep e.g. clothes or was that the cost of the cocaine?

@RelievedSheff I’m trying to avoid thinking at the moment get into the !!!!!! frame of mind and letting things/ people etc trip me off I get into a bad place. Absolutely whacked tbh think I’ll be in bed at 10pm with my curtains open again lol.

@stymied ha I was hoping no one would ask. I’ve written three different answers to that mate one being no comment, one being don’t want to get into it and the last being idk really. All make it !!!!!! obvious. Vast majority was the latter.

Worked through ground floor schedule. Itemising clothes bit too ambitious I’m completely whacked going to get in bed with the audiobook on listening so have carried forward onto jobs for tomorrow. Got about 6 hours work each day scheduled. Therapy/ meetings scheduled in cal too. Friday bit more relaxed work until 3/4pm. Meant to be taking my Mrs to a restaurant Saturday suppose she’ll be taking me lol fml don’t think I’ve ever had a girl pay the bill ha, well it’s 2021.

Had some thoughts re res home. These past few days not felt amazing in myself but I’ve fell back in love with my home. When wife and son are here I just think I’ve failed them; all the pressure to provide a better family home has gone with just me here. It’s bang on perfect everything I need/ want for me alone. I know it’s an entirely false train of thought - not going to have this to myself for long. When they’re here I constantly think I’ve failed them and should be able to provide them with more. I know the house is more than adequate for a family of 3. Families bigger living in 2-up 2-downs I know, I’m not looking for a lecture. Suppose getting into a bit of a brain dump, get weird thoughts about my son growing up struggling mentally with not having had a proper dedicated room for this or that hobby or whatever really !!!!!! stupid thoughts. First world problems.

    House
Tuesday: Garden / front and side elevations externals inc windows.
Wednesday: rear elevation externals and garage.
Thursday: kitchen and bathrooms proper clean down, do wipe over and floors everyday I’m not a dirty !!!!!! ha.
After: basically sticking with plan I drew up for wife when close to catching up. Need to do the BMW Friday, Range on Saturday and I’m 100% caught up. Start the normal schedule for week commencing 14th.

    Clothes itemising
    Wednesday shirts
    Thursdays jackets/ coats
    Friday suits & formal wear
    Saturday shorts/ trousers, shoes, other
Hoping to have that done by the end of the week if I carry on failing in the week just smash it Saturday/ Sunday.

    Finances
Updating spreadsheet will put on here. I’ve still only got my £20 easily accessible. Wife is spending buys food and eats here still etc.

    Food
Tuesday: boiled egg, toast and fruit salad breakfast, tempted by a Maccys lunch haha prob best avoid will be something on the road though, remainder of this evening’s curry for dinner.

    Exercise
Tuesday / Thursday upper body 20 min lol wife will give my a massive !!!!!! lecture what’s the point in 20 mins workout = it’s better than none lol
Wednesday / Friday lower body 20 min
Sunday going to attempt a 5km run.

Tuesday, day 5. Curtains open working well. No alarms again waking before it goes off. Went to sleep ok last night.

Kind of looking forward to getting out of the house for a few hours. Just need to avoid buying a big Mac for lunch haha.

I really hope you can find a cheap hobby , something you enjoy to channel your obsessive behaviour and passions in too.
Maybe fishing , cycling , something good for your general well being and something for you to focus on other then the obvious pitfalls which include spending.
I threw myself in to the gym at one point and found it so good for my mental health as well as my all round sense of well being , circumstances mean I can't go at the moment but if you could find something other then work and money etc to channel your energy in to and give you another sense of direction I think it would be really good for you

You should have a go at geocaching (although it CAN become a bit obsessive)!  Your son would enjoy it too.
