MG isn’t a British firm anymore, it’s Chinese. I only really tend to buy British cars or German cars but only BMW and Porsche from Germany. Would consider a Mercedes for sure but don’t want VAG. Don’t get me wrong I’d buy an Italian supercar but nothing else Italian and I don’t want to own a car from the Far East or America really. Still don’t know what this badge thing is on here don’t get it everyone thinks I’m obsessed with badges if I was I would have bought a used Bentayga wouldn’t I lol - seriously nothing to do with badges... Show me a decent interior on a car with an ‘inferior’ badge and I’ll have a look. If you think an electric MG is the place to be let me disappoint you it won’t be close to being as nice for a passenger as a (full fat) Range Rover not a chance on this earth. Need something that’s going to at least be close or it’s going to be a massive disappointment and already going to be enough of a disappointment effectively being a kettle on wheels for me.
All the evs are !!!!!!, how the !!!!!! a manufacturer who made the FType has got away with the IPace is unreal tbh the thing trips me off but I’ve got to get with this and say goodbye to the BMW. I still don’t like the electric cars and hate I’m going to look like a !!!!!! eco maniac soon. Wife hates me droning on about it though haha says if I say it’s not stolen it’s taycan one more time she’s going to kill me lol so I’m def having a rant on here ha.

I love my skoda estate with all my little heart.
It's great you've got a 5 year plan. Knowing things will get better in the near future and meanwhile you have a decent budget to pay off CCs and car finance as well as having treats for you and your family which will help you enjoy the next few years.Bottom line;

I’m glad the other has gone. Not even sure why I’m still on here - trying to maintain a sense of ‘normality’ in someways I think; went through times of posting plans for the day / days spending plans and in the right frame of mind it worked well for me. I don’t want the ‘what a !!!!!!’ etc comments because if you don’t think I don’t feel bad enough about myself you’re very much mistaken but I either pick myself up and get on or the whole !!!!!! show starts again.Day 2 today no intention to spend or even leave my home. Wheels in motion for items to go back and I’ve limited my access to money. The weather is good. Going to do a bit of work on the garden, clean the 1st floor of the house and my car interior see how far I get those are my jobs I’ve set myself for the weekend. Not very well so if I get through that lot I’ll be very pleased. Keep busy, in a routine, look after the things I’ve got left, ring the number if I need to and stay away from anything else.7

Congratulations on day 2, returning your unbudgeted shopping spree and limiting your access to money. Hopefully it will help you stick to your budget plans.
I think the lockdowns and this last year have made many of us feel differently about going out mindlessly spending. I'm definitely doing more cleaning and stuff in the house than I ever used to! Hopefully I'll end up with a nicer home as a consequence!
