No spends planned today, get through as many jobs from yesterday and cook a nice dinner for my Mrs and I later. Day 3. Just get through another one day at a time. Remind myself life is better in recovery.@stymied thank you that’s why I keep posting on here haha, sorted and I’d have never even thought about it.0

One day at a time and don't worry if you don't get all of your jobs done. They will still be there tomorrow 😀1

.... or you could make eton mess & just make a couple of portions. I hear you
re having the remains of a whole cheesecake lurking in the fridge.... I'd have good intentions but would be straight in there with a spoon next day for sure!

@RelievedSheff thanks. Jobs will be there and I’ll be in right right frame of mind to do them. Keep telling myself that ha.@foxgloves I’ve decided on a cheesecake in a ramekin mate but could def do an Eton mess another day. Long long time since I’ve made a meringue though must have been a kid. Really don’t need encouragement to be making cakes and desserts though lol I almost guarantee I would be obese if it wasn’t for my wife like my food too much ha fml.3

I’m glad your son enjoyed Sundown. My kids used to love it and now my son takes his kids there. I don’t know if it’s still the case but they never used to advertise, it was just a word of mouth place.I hope it all goes well tonight for the meal with Mrs Alt 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Thanks to whoever told me leave the blinds & curtains open. Woke up not too long ago no alarms etc ready to face the day. 👍
Monday, day 4, work planned out for the day. 1st floor sorted. Going to concentrate on ground floor later, itemising shirts. Mrs bringing my food shopping and hanging around for a curry. Bit of tv to finish and bed. Get back to working out tomorrow morning. Keeping busy and enjoying looking after my home not relying on others and not being tripped off by others.
@Niknac thank you.
@Sun_Addict I’ve no idea - it was you who told me about it I’d never heard of it before but thank you. Yes we had a lovely meal thanks roast chicken all the trimmings with white wine & tarragon gravy. Cheesecake to finish and thanks to here no massive cake in my fridge win win.3 -
What will you be doing with the roast chicken leftovers? Is that lunch sorted? Don’t forget to get some fresh air in the garden during the day.1

@stymied yeah lunch sorted having a chicken salad. I need to stop eating like a pig tbh slice of toast, chicken salad and a hm curry should be ok.Ha already on the fresh air in garden I’ve been working in the garden for past hour lol. Very glad I don’t need to leave the house tomorrow I do need to leave for work but that should be ok.1

Be careful that you don't become a hermit and never leave your house!!
Some good food will do you the world of good. You need to keep your strength up and you can't do that just eating chicken salad. You can get the weight back off later. Right now your body needs all the help it can get to beat your addiction. Don't starve it of what it needs to do that.3
